Krissy & Dave, April 14, 2007

By David on Saturday, April 14th, 2007

krissydaveblog2000.JPGThere is something to be said about a wedding in a church filled with stained glass. The light that filters through splashes every colour of the rainbow throughout the inside of the church. Beautiful!

That said, Krissy & Dave chose to have their wedding at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamitos that is filled with stained glass. Their ceremony had Monet written all over it; with the soft colours, a traditional service and the stunning gown that Krissy was wearing.

Afterwards, we gathered in the courtyard to take advantage of nearly the entire family being in town for some very large family portraits. Then I rode with Krissy & David in their limo as they called other family & friends that couldn’t make it into town. Just before they made their entrance into the reception (which was at The Meadowlark Golf Course), we stopped to do some beautiful fine art portraits with the rolling hills in the background.

As everyone enjoyed themselves, the reception seemed like it was over right after it started. DJ Ray Martinez did a fantastic job keeping things moving without a lul anywhere through the night.

Thank you for sharing your special day with me! It was truly spectacular - cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
