Heather & Joseph, May 19, 2007

By David on Saturday, May 19th, 2007

heatherjoeblog1002.JPGHeather & Joseph gave me what a photographer would only hope to get & that is a “blank check” to photograph their weddng. I was told to “go for it” and have fun with my photography and break some of the molds that you typically see in wedding photography. What a blessing!

While Heather was getting ready she asked me if we could do something a little different as she wanted to give Joseph a boudiour photograph as a gift from their day. Having worked in the fashion, glamour & boudiour industry throughout the years, this was not a problem for me as I’m comfortable in that environment. One of her bridesmaids helped position some of the props in the background and we all had a blast doing the shoot.

Their wedding was at the Canyon Crest Country Club in Riverside and it is hands-down beautiful. The cermony was just before sunset so the light was perfect and after all the formals and family portraits we spent some time on the rolling hills of the country club capturing the love that they have for each other in some spectacular photographs.

The reception followed with a delicious dinner and they even had a candy table next to the gift table filled with gourmet jelly beans, chocolate covered pretzels and pleanty of fruit & rich cheeses. I even spent a little time with their wedding rings and had some fun with the fruit & candy table.

Thank you for inviting me into your day and here are some of my favourites - cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
