Post Production

By David on Wednesday, July 11th, 2007

Off To The Ceremony!I was asked how many hours I put into my post production for my photos. What I thought was going to be a brief conversation turned into a nice chat as he didn’t realize that with digital, you are admonished to make sure that your photography looks as best as it can for the client, for the art and for yourself.

Then he asked for the simple answer after our nice chat & I said that my post will typically take me up to 3 times the time it did for me to shoot. I received a blank stare for a moment, a head that shook from side-to-side and then a “Wow! I had no idea you cared that much!”

I wouldn’t do anything less for my client’s photography. That’s why you have those 18-22 hour days sometimes to ensure you meet your deadlines and deliver an exceptional product. Cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
