Stacy & Erik’s Engagement Photoshoot

By David on Friday, July 13th, 2007

stacyerikeng1001.JPGOn this crazy Friday the 13th, I had the honour of photographing Stacy & Erik for an uber-fast engagement shoot in Laguna Beach. We all fought traffic, accidents and the usual “Friday Light” insanity we have in Southern California to get there and it was soo worth it. Both of them are wonderful spirits; free-flowing, smiling and laughing with each other while I snapped away.

After the shoot, we went to their wedding location; Casa Camino - to do some location scouting and get a feel of it. As you walk through the restaurant, it is buzzing with all the locals, you can smell the rich filet mignon sizzling in the kitchen and the rooftop reminds me of Acapulco bay in Mexico. It’s a dream come true for any photographer!

As I sifted through the photographs, you can definitely see the love they have for each other and here are just a few of my favourites from this evening. Cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
