Katherine Update!

van-gogh-vincent-starry-night-7900566.jpgHello Everyone! I just received a note from Katherine & I wanted to be able to share with you her tales from Europe:

Today was fun!

We went to the Van Gogh museum and walked a bit through Amsterdam and had my 2nd tosti- which is basically a grill cheese sandwich. Then we headed off to practice where we did time trials for the kids. Tomorrow is our real first day with the kids coaching. I’m excited! Everyone here is nice and friendly. I even convinced someone to trade me their night off so now i have a Saturday night off in Amsterdam with my roomie and a few others. Hopefully the tiredness hopefully won’t take over - we arent able to start our night off until after 9pm and then up the next day at 7am.

It also rained quite a bit tonight and this afternoon. We had dinner at the friendship village and managed to get a souvenir and watch all the crazy Europeans play some gnarly soccer in the rain while disco music was being pumped in the background. Our girls were soaked and cranky but all in all a great day.
Anyhow lets see… Tomorrow we have practice first thing in the a.m. and then off to lunch. From lunch we go on a canal tour and then to Anne Frank’s house and for dinner. Can you guess - it is very American… Hard Rock Cafe…

If there is anything that you would like or like to mention to her, please email me at david@esquirephotography.com & I’ll be sure to get it to you.

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
