Knowledge IS Power!

I had the honour of spending the past 2 days at the Pictage Partner Con here in Los Angeles at the Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel. What an inspiring time to be surrounded by some of the best wedding photographers in the world and some of the best vendors in the world! And to get to chat with Jason, the CEO of Pictage, who is in charge of all of our printing fulfillment, was a real treat. He is a down-to-earth guy with a true vision of helping photographers around the world.

Being able to listen to what the masters in our industry had to say was amazing! Mike Colon, Robert T. Williams, Denis Reggie, David Jay & many of my colleagues were speaking and sharing so many things that my hand started to cramp up in some of the sessions! I knew I should have just brought my Mac Book Pro & typed out my notes. I can type sooo much faster than doing my chicken scratching.

I even bumped into my good friend Keats & got my new Shoot Sac. She & I go way back to the Gary Fong days and now she is working with Jessica Claire running their Shoot Sac business. AND because, she’s a wild & crazy workaholicista like myself, she also works with Becker in the OC too - helping him with his workshops. She’s an inspiration to everyone and always seeking to apply her entrepreneurial mind to find solutions in our industry and make things better!

Here are a few snaps from the past couple of days with the greats - cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
