Coming to you live from Huntington Beach, California is Orange County’s Esquire Photography – featuring Daaaaaaaavid Esquire!  LOL!  Ok, so I’m finally starting to get over this nasty flu that’s going around & obviously had a bit more than the US RDA of caffeine, but hey, it’s West Coast Wednesday.

So as I’m getting caught up on all the events that I’ve shot, I have one that I have been dying to share with you.  A couple of Fridays ago, I had the honour of working with Jarrod (JT) Taylor, the director of Dance Masters; a troop of professional dancers from around the world that have done various movies and television programs that you may have seen.  You know, things like; Dancing With The Stars, Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew, Step Up 2 & 3, Quidam and a LOT more.

Well on the morning of Friday, October 9th – the Dance Masters troop did a drug awareness assembly performance at Newhart Middle School in Mission Viejo, California.  When JT asked if I could come & shoot it, I was honoured to be asked to do this & it gave me a chance to continue honing in my Fusion shooting skills too (combing video & still photography).

So I popped down to Mission Viejo and started shooting at about 9:30 a.m. with their performance being from 11:00 a.m. – noon.  Which was perfect, because I needed to be in Ventura for Callie & Mike’s Wedding at the Wedgewood Golf Course.  I had great time, captured pleanty of video & still photography and since then, I’ve been putting together the piece that you’re about to see.

So before I present you with my Fusion video of the Dance Masters’ performance and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

So without further ado, here is the Fusion video and feel free to leave a comment below to let me know what you think. I am doing more & more video like I used to do back in my extreme sports days – cheers!

Good morning everyone!  Sorry I missed doing one last week, I had a massive strain of some nasty stomach flu that’s going around Orange County.  So this week – I’m dropping two videos here in Huntington Beach, California for this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.

This week, I’ve been thinking about some of the most influencial artists that I’ve admired over the years in my photography career.  There’s Andy Warhol, Herb Ritts, Versace, Karl Lagerfeld & Grace Jones to name just a few.  So I thought, hey – I’ll share some eclecticism with you as this particular artist’s name has been thrown around much lately in the music industry from Los Angeles to New York.  It’s almost becoming a pedestrian term – which I think this artist deserves better recognition.

The artist that I’m referring to is nonetheless than the absolutely amazing Grace JonesGrace Jones was born as Grace Mendoza on May 19th in the Spanish town of Jamaica Grace.  She is a famous Jamaican–American actress, singer, lyricist, dancer and supermodel.  In my opinion, a well rounded veritable cornucopia of talent.

So before I present you with this week’s feature of my West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

So without further ado, I’d like to share two of my favourite songs from Grace Jones; Demolition Man & Slave To The Rythym.  Both on the edge of artistry and insanity.

And by the way, don’t just have an awesome West Coast Wednesday, but make it a positive one for someone else too – cheers!

“Hi David –  This is Sue Sage, Amber’s mom.  You photographed Amber and Tyler’s Wedding on Sunday, 10/11.

I just wanted to tell you how great I thought you were.  Well, not just me. I have received so many comments from guests about how wonderful they thought you were …… and we haven’t even seen the pictures yet.  I just thought you should know that whatever you’re doing, don’t change.  They loved your energy and your passion.  It absolutely looked like you love what you do.  You made taking pictures painless and let me tell you… I hate getting my picture taken.  I’m the worst picture-taker everrrrr.

Anyway, keep up the good work.  Like I mentioned, I’m in Michigan but I will definitely give your name to anyone I know who needs some photos.  We are so looking forward to seeing the pictures.  I’m sure they’re beautiful.

Thank you and take care…..

Sue Sage”
