Good evening everyone!  I have a fantastic story to share with you about Britney & Scott’s Wedding day.  But first, you may remember how our story kicked off with them for their Engagement Shoot that I did for them back in April at my “Secret Spot” at one of the beaches in Southern California.

Fast forward to Saturday and all I can say is wow! I got to get to hang out with all their friends and family – who took me in like I was a old friend of Britney & Scott’s.

With hair & Makeup flawlessly done by Lindsay Badouin and a totally stunning Pronovias wedding gown – Britney looked like royalty and her entourage of ladies complimented her with beautifully colourful bridesmaids dresses.

I had the pleasure of shooting side-by-side with a good friend of mine & resident Esquire Photography photographer; Michelle down in San Diego and Eric Cahill from Gig Entertainment not only kept the reception rockin throughout the night, but put together an emotional slide show of Britney & Scott’s lives throughout the years & when they came together.

Britney & Scott’s wedding and reception was held at the Pacific Palms in Industry Hills.  Ms. Crystal Kelly rolled out the red carpet and her staff made sure that every little detail for Britney & Scott’s wedding reception was met with the white glove touch from her top-shelf attentive staff.  Louellen Pigott at From Buttons To Bows decorated the ceremony & reception with beautifully colourul arrangements that Michelle & I captured in many of the 2,976 photos we shot throughout the day.

So if you’re an Orange County or Los Angeles County Bride or Groom that wants to not only have a blast like we did Saturday for your wedding.  But also be able to share with your family and friends some of my Signature Romantic, Artistic & Sexy Portraits, feel free to Contact Me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.

Without further ado, here is a collection in a slide show video of some of my favourite Signature Artistic and Romantic Portraits from Britney & Scotts’s Wedding in Industry Hills, California & have a super weekend – cheers!

0014Good evening everyone!  So first, let me just say that if you’re a Southern California Bride and Groom in either Orange County or LA County, getting married and you’re looking to do not only some Romantic Engagement Portraits, but some with an artistic flair – then look no further and check out what I did with one of my favourite couples; Anna Marie & Lee.

You might remember Anna & Lee from the Location Scouting Katherine & I did with them in Los Olivos a few weeks ago.  And, t’s been so cool because, as we’ve become pretty close working with them – their Engagement Shoot yesterday in Pasadena was more like spending the day with old friends & not just a “client.”

So if you saw my tweets throughout the afternoon & evening yesterday, you’ll have seen that we started off at their home for a couple of cute portraits with their dogs; Newcastle & Guinness (Yes, you heard that right – their dogs are the names of my two favourite beers!), then we headed to the Huntington Gardens, the Pasadena City Hall (where I found another couple’s marriage certificate, license & more – that I gave to them this morning at Starbucks), an old brick church behind the Pasadena City Hall and then some of my signature night romantic portraits around Old Town Pasadena.

And, if you saw my last tweet – then you know that they took it to the Ho… Nuh-Thah… Leh-Veh (HNL)!

I’ve been working on some Artistic Edits this afternoon and have put together a colourful collection from their Engagement Shoot in Pasadena.  Even a portrait that we did at my favourite spot at the Huntington Gardens where Duran Duran’s Ordinary World video is in the collection.

So if you’re an Orange County or Los Angeles County Bride or Groom that wants to not only have a blast like we did last around various Southern California cities like Pasadena during your Engagement Shoot. But also be able to share with your family and friends some of my Signature Romantic, Artistic & Sexy Portraits, feel free to Contact Me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.

Without further ado, here is a collection of some of my favourite portraits from Anna & Lee’s Engagement Shoot in Pasadena & have a super weekend – cheers!

Good Evening Everyone!  This blog posting is coming to you straight out of Huntington Beach, California – just a pinch behind the Curtain in Orange County.

Earlier this evening I had the honour of being a Guest Speaker at the Long Beach Pictage User Group at Christine Lee Smith’s home office in of course – you guessed it – Long Beach, California.

I chatted about something that is very difficult and at times – seems like something lost during the Templar Knight’s Crusade.  It was about being true to yourself and your clients.

For my presentation, I shared some of my story about how I got to be where I am today as a professional wedding and portrait photographer.  I also had an interactive program that brought others into my presentation so we could all do a bit of self discovery about who we are what makes us tick as well.

All in all, I was very happy about my presentation & what was really cool was afterwards some of us went out for a cold beverage (my good friend Danny Mendoza & I shared a pitcher of Newcastle – YUM!) and then a select few of us (including moi) headed to a Del Taco.  Which we proceeded to close over some good eats and yes, you know it – NACHOS!

So whether you’re an Orange County photographer, a Pictage user or someone that is looking for a way to break up your week and collaborating with other cool photographers, you should attend one.

If you’d like to attend the Long Beach PUG, you can register on the Long Beach Pictage User Group page, or feel free to Contact Me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.

Below are some fun snaps that Christine captured at the Pictage User Group.  I even snuck in my ever-so-popular version of a Blue Steel pose.

Also, let’s say  you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

Have a super rest of your West Coast Wednesday & enjoy the photos – cheers!

Comin’ to you live from Huntington Beach, California – just a pinch behind the Curtain in Orange County is this week’s double feature of my West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.

Please forgive me for missing last week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.  It as a rather tumultuous week with one of my brothers (Jason) going through cancer surgery and less than 48 hours later – being in Minnesota to be a Best Man for my other brother; Tony’s wedding.  Needless to say it was a pretty crazy week.  I’m just glad to be back in my office yesterday so I can get caught up on things.

Since so much has happened with my family, albeit a small family consisting of my two brothers; Jason & Tony – I would like to do a double feature with two videos and dedicate this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week to my brothers.

The first video is in honour of my brother; Jason who is home resting and healing with pleanty of staples and stitches in him as we wait for the results from his doctor letting us know that he is totally in the clear.  Jason is as huge a Metallica fan as I am a Duran Duran fan, so I thought I would do one of his favourite songs; “Enter Sandman.”

Tony on the other hand has a very different taste in music than Jason does.  His is a little more like mine as he enjoys techno, trance, hip hop, d & b, and a ton of other genres that I love.  So for Tony’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week, I would like to share a song from his wedding day by Imogen Heap & it’s “Hide and Seek.”

So before I present you with this week’s double feature of my West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week dedicated to my two brothers; Jason & Tony, and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

So without further ado, I give you “Enter Sandman” and “Hide and Seek.”  And, don’t just have an awesome West Coast Wednesday, but make it a positive one for someone else too – cheers!

Good evening everyone from Orange County everyone!  I’m “unofficially” back in my office in Huntington Beach after spending nearly a week in Minnesota for my brother; Tony & his fiance’s wedding just outside of Minneapolis.

So as I tackle the seemingly endless mountain of correspondence I wanted to share with you that I’ll be a Guest Speaker at the Long Beach Pictage User Group this Wednesday, September 23rd at Christine Lee Smith’s home office in of course – you guessed it – Long Beach, California.

I’ll be chatting about something that is very difficult and at times – seems like something lost during the Templar Knight’s Crusade.  It is going to be about being true to yourself and your clients.

So whether you’re an Orange County photographer, a Pictage user or someone that is looking for a way to break up your week, I would love it if you could come down to Long Beach to listen to me chat.  The event is open to anyone and my good friend; John Loyola will be showcasing his photography business as well!

You can register to attend on the Long Beach Pictage User Group page, or feel free to Contact Me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.

Have a terrific week & I hope to see you at the event – cheers!
