Julie & Scott, May 11, 2007

By David on Friday, May 11th, 2007

juliescottblog1000.jpgJulie & Scott just got married in an intimate ceremony right on the sand for a sunset wedding in Laguna Beach & it was georgeous! They exchanged vows in front of 50 of their closest friends and family while the waves crashed on the sand and a string trio played during the processional & recessional.

The day started at By The Sea Inn on PCH in Laguna as family & friends from out of town were arriving. There was no shortage for laughs and fun with Julie & Scott being in two different rooms just 4 doors down from each. But as the ceremony drew closer and Julie’s gown went on, everyone was admonished with being the wedding police to ensure that neither of them saw each other.

It was a perfect celebration on the beach. And after the ceremony & family portraits, Julie & Scott were very eager to have their own portraits with our perfect California sunsets over Laguna’s crisp waters (who wouldn’t, we have some of the best sunsets in the world!). By the end of their portraits, all of us had pleanty of sand in our shoes and in our clothes. I wonder how many days it’s going to take them for their shoes & clothes to dry out - crazy!

The reception was held at Ristorante Robilio about 5 minutes from the beach. Which provided an absolutely romantic setting for a delicious dinner while a five piece jazz band played throughout the evening.

Thank you for inviting me into your family and sharing your day with me - cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
