Monique & Cesar, August, 16, 2008, La Habra, CA

By David on Saturday, August 16th, 2008

Good Evening!  I just got in from an absolutely INCREDIBLE day with Monique & Cesar for their wedding.  Their day kicked off bright & early at 9:00 a.m. at Monique’s family’s home in La Mirada where we all hung out for some breakfast fun, and photos of all the romantic details that lie around the home.  AND, all the while our world famous Associate Photographer; Kerry developed a very “special” relationship with their dog; Charlie.  I really wonder about him sometimes!  LOL!

Kerry & I eventually left to meet up with Cesar & his entourage for a few final touches while they were getting ready and for a really “family-styled” portrait of all the men.  A little something that would my my Italian mother proud.

From there it was back to Monique’s for a few more photos ANNNNNND… her uncles brought their classic cars for a caravan in style to the Westridge Golf Club in La Habra for the ceremony & reception.  Pure class the way we rolled!

Roumour had it that there was 390 guests for their wedding day.  And, I would have to say that it sure looked like it because there was nothing but a sea of people there to enjoy the coming together of two incredible families.

After the ceremony, we did some of our signature breathtaking Artistic & Romantic portraits on the green & the bridal party even stormed the hill too!

Their reception was anything but dull as they had a marraci band, a latin band and a DJ to keep the night rocking all the way through. And woe to one of the guys that “fell asleep” in the corner at the very back of the reception hall. I captured only a small snippit of what I’m sure pales in comparison to what was going on in the corner. :)

Here’s a sample of what I captured through my lens & I hope you enjoy it as much as I did - cheers!

I cannot express how much Marc and I enjoyed working with you. You manage to find such a perfect balance between crazy fun and absolute professionalism. You were so great at keeping it fun while still moving things along when we had a time frame to work with.
