0001Good evening from Huntington Beach, California everyone! I just shared a sneak peek of Matthew’s Holiday Portraits I just did in Seal Beach and wanted to share a sneak peek of a family portrait session I photographed recently at my church; Sea Coast Grace in Cypress, California where I’m also a camera operator for Sunday service.

Tammy and her family really wanted to get together & do a Holiday Portrait for their Christmas cards this year & when Tammy (who I work with in the video department at church) sent me a Facebook message, we checked our calendars & scheduled a family portrait.

But before you check out the sneak peek of their holiday family portraits we did and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.  If you’re reading this tonight, you can more than likely reach me online right now.

I’ve got a couple more events to share with you, so stay tuned and have a super evening – cheers!

0022Good evening from Huntington Beach, California everyone! I’m on lock-down in Orange County at Esquire Photography Headquarters charging through post production and totally wanted to share a sneak peek from Matthew’s Children’s Portraits I recently photographed of him for his family in Seal Beach.

Matthew’s mom; Vonnie works with Katherine at her school and when she asked about doing some portraits of Matthew down on the sand in Seal Beach for a holiday portrait – I couldn’t resist and said yes.  Little “Scooby Snacks” (my little phrase for little kids) are totally cute at the beach and we had a blast playing in the water and sand – all the while I was capturing some fun candids and honest portraits of Matthew.

But before you check out a couple of Matthew’s Portraits down in Seal Beach and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California.  Feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

I hope you’re having a great start to your week and stay tuned for some more exciting photos that I’ll be sharing from recent a couple of weddings and a family portrait too – cheers!

0036Good afternoon from chilly Huntington Beach, California everyone!  When you combine a super cool couple with Los Angeles, Union Station and Olivera Street – you have the perfect ingredients for an awesome Rock-n-Romantic Engagement Shoot.

Angel & Brian’s Engagement Shoot was photographed in Los Angeles at Union Station & Olivera Street right in the heart of downtown LA last Sunday afternoon after church & my toddler beach portrait shoot with Matthew in Seal Beach.

When we first kicked off their Engagement Shoot, they both told me how neither one of them were good in front of the camera.  Yeah… that was a thought which was short lived as they both killed it for the Engagement Shoot.  In fact!  Towards the end of the shoot, park security at Olivera Street informed us that they were professional models.  From the portraits that they rocked, I would definitely have to agree!

So if you’re an Orange County or Los Angeles County Bride or Groom that wants to not only have a blast like we did last Sunday afternoon for your Engagement Shoot.  But also be able to share with your family and friends some of my Signature Romantic, Artistic & Sexy Portraits, feel free to contact me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.

You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on TwitterFacebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.  If you’re reading this right now, you’ll probably catch me online.

Without further ado, here is a collection of some of my favourite portraits from Angel & Brian’s Engagement Shoot in Los Angeles & have a super weekend – cheers!

ESQRedBullGood morning everyone!  Before I kick off my day at the gym and open up a can of whoop arse on Mr. Cardio so I can be better prepared to handle today’s nutrition debauchery, I wanted to share a quick note with you.

I received an incredible email from my good friend Scarlett Lillian about all the things that she was thankful for and it inspired me to share a couple of thoughts with you as well.

One of the things she shared was a killer video of Glósóli by Sigur Rós from the United Kingdom (Where all great and creative things come from of course!) that she had seen at Partnercon that my other good friend Dane Sanders from Fast Track Photographer in Newport Beach shared.

It’s a very inspirational song from Sigur Rós instilling motivation and chasing after your dreams against all common knowledge and odds.  Kinda like tilting against windmills.

I also want to share another inspiration video that I love and it’s a simple Apple ad.

Where is all this going & what’s it got to do with Thanksgiving?

I’m thankful for a couple of things like:

  • Creativity
  • Inspiration
  • A blank canvas in the view finder of my camera
  • Hope
  • Faith (most challenging at times)
  • Art
  • Music
  • Beauty
  • Health
  • Ability to dream in colour
  • Courage to chase my dreams (sometimes against all odds)
  • Having survived life-changing obstacles
  • Hope (Twice, because hope is what get’s one through the day and especially the night)

But before I present you with this week’s Thanksgiving Day inspiration videos and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this eclectic Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

And since I seem to express my thoughts best in art, music & video here are the two videos that I was talking about & have a terrific Thanksgiving – cheers!
