Good Morning Everyone!  Lately it seems that there has been quite a bit of somberness in the news and it seems to be creating a sense of malaise around town.

Well I have a treat for you that I think will help you “Work This Mutha Out!” and remember to “Pray” too.

If you you’re a fan of rap both old school & new school, then you’ve heard of Hammer.  So without further ado, here’s Hammer in “Too Legit To Quit!”

Have a fantastic West Coast Wednesday & keep tilting on those windmills.  Your dreams are worth it – cheers!

leahdarrellGood afternoon from Huntington Beach everyone! I just received a wonderful note from Leah about her Wedding that I photographed for her in Diamond Bar before I left for my mini-break to Hawaii with Katherine & her folks.

This is such an honour to receive from her because she too is in the wedding biz with her sister; Lindsey running a very successful wedding coordinating business; The Double Knot Twins.

Here’s a wonderful note from Leah & I hope you’re having as great a week as I am – cheers!

“OMG! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!! They are absolutely amazing! Better than in person! You create such beautiful art and color! And we were only looking at them on my blackberry!

I can’t wait to share them with everyone!

Yay! Thanks again!

Leah Tung  :)”

Good Evening Everyone! I just got back in my office in Huntington Beach from an amazing day and I have to tell you that the extreme highlight of my day was my Engagement Shoot with Britney & Scott in Laguna Beach.

But!  I need to share a little bit of the back-story about how we all met – it’s totally priceless.  A couple of months ago, Katherine & I did a bridal faire with my good friends; Marcy, Denise & Tom at the Wyndham Orange County in Costa Mesa.  At the end of the day and after all the other vendors left, I was packing up the car with Katherine and bumped into Britney & Scott and her mum.  They drove all the way out from Ontario to Costa Mesa, but got caught in our “lovely” Southern California traffic & happened to miss the show.

So as the back of my car became an instant showroom, we all hit it off laughing about how Katherine & I were promoting my photography on the curb of a hotel and getting to know each other a bit too.  The only things we were missing were some gold watches and chains & the presentation would have been complete!  LOL!

Britney & Scott seriously brought it on for their Engagement Shoot; completely prepared with changes of clothes, accessories and a willingness to go the extra mile for their portraits – even when the sun was gone & the temperature started to drop.

So below I’ve got a few photos that I’d like to share from the absolutely perfect Engagement Shoot we did in Laguna Beach. I hope you enjoy their photos as much as I did capturing them & have a terrific week – cheers!

Good Evening Everyone!  I just got back into my office in Huntington Beach from spending a fantastic sunset with Kristin & Michael in Newport Beach down by the Balboa Island.

Kirstin and I were introduced to each other by her mother and Katherine as they both know each other through teaching.  I knew after our initial meeting that working with her and Michael would be a blast and I was so right.  We totally laughed, told jokes, and played around for their shoot.  I felt like I was spending the afternoon with good friends – which just makes my day.

For their Engagement Shoot, we were thinking of different locations and Kirstin told me that she & Michael have a special connection to the Newport Beach / Balboa Bay area.  With the boats in the background, the beautiful beach and the incredible sunsets that we’re able to work with – I was able to capture some artistic and romantic portraits of them that aren’t the standard in-the-box shots we’ve been accustomed to seeing over the years.  We even had Elvis on a tour boat for part of the shoot serenading us!

Here are a few of my favourites from their day and I hope you enjoy them as much as I did capturing them – cheers!
