Good Evening Everyone!  I just got back into my cozy little office in Huntington Beach and have I got a day to share with you.  Today I had the honour of working side-by-side with the award winning Michelle Zuniga of Studio Z in San Diego for Sesselia & Gregory’s wedding in Rancho Santa Fe.

Michelle & I first bumped into each other at the Pictage Partnercon last year & then again in Las Vegas for WPPI.  Our personalities are very similar – not to mention our creative minds that seem to be in sync as well.  So when Michelle rang me up on the tele to see if I was available to shoot with her, I jumped at the opportunity!

Michelle and I met up at Starbucks for a quick caffeine jump-start before meeting up with Sesselia & Gregory along with their wedding party and family.  When we arrived at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe, we both split up where I captured the guys getting their “Gucci” on while Michelle met up with the ladies for some beautiful portraits.  Eventually we all met up for wedding party and family formals, but not until Sesselia and Gregory had a private first look before their ceremony.

Sesselia and Gregory pulled out all the stops for their wedding with Kathy Wright decorating exquisite floral arrangements, The Heroes led by Tom Boyd rocked the reception and Victoria from Coronado Weddings coordinated the entire day with the precision of a mathematician.

Above was the slide show of some of my favourites that I captured of Sesselia & Gregory’s wedding for my good friend; Michelle down in Rancho Santa Fe.  I hope you enjoy them as much as I did capturing them & have a super weekend – cheers!

Good morning from Huntington Beach in beautiful Southern California everyone!  I’m feeling a little funky this week so I’ve been staying in my “happy place” diving into my music library as I’m dealing with the fun of the car accident on Sunday.  Which leads me to today’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.  It’s a little something that is pretty rad from only the coolest band in the world; Duran Duran.

If you saw their tour a couple years ago or perhaps own their Live In London DVD set, then you’ve seen this totally unique video that they had shown during their performance.  It’s Careless Memories done in Anime!

So sit back, enjoy your favourite morning beverage as Duran Duran saves the world & have a fantastic West Coast Wednesday – cheers!

So this week, we’re chatting about some of the cool gadgets that we’re using along with some of the awesome things that we had seen at WPPI and PMA.  We each had a few to chat about and I’ve got a short list our favourite picks below.

morrys0003Good Evening Everyone! I just got back behind the curtain to my office in Huntington Beach after spending a favourful and colourful day at Morry’s Of Naples.

This morning started off early with coffee in hand as I met Cinthia the chef for a photo shoot of some of their popular wine & cheese bar delicacies for their new marketing collateral that they’re making for the upcoming season.

If you’re not too familiar with Morry’s, here’s a little back story. It all started back in 1938, which was a memorable year. While the cloud of the “Great Depression” still hung over the United States, a savvy young entrepreneur Morry Rabin (in the glasses on right) in Long Beach California took a gamble and opened his very own liquor and convenience store called “Morrys.”

Now, 70 years later, the tradition of service and innovation that made Morry’s a notable success from the very beginning continues today. We’ve become a premier destination for the best and most interesting in wines, beers and alcoholic beverages as well as gourmet food, and fun fashion forward gifts.

Definitely check them out online and when you’re there, ask for Annie and she’ll definitely roll out the red carpet for you. Here are a few of my favourites from the shoot that kept me hungry all day & have a super night – cheers!
