Good Morning Everyone! As I’m getting settled back into my groove in Huntington Beach after having been out of town for a week in Las Vegas I wanted to bring to you a special video about being home.

We all had an uber-over-the-top time in Las Vegas for WPPI, but there is something to be said about coming home.  I think that this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week is best summed up by Motley Crue; “Home Sweet Home.”

So sit back in your chair, sip on your favourite morning beverage & reminisce of the trip we all experienced and how comforting it is to come home to our sanctuaries.

Have a fantastic West Coast Wednesday and welcome home – cheers!

curt-200x146Good Evening Everyone!  First, I would like to say that it truly feels good being back home & getting back into the swing of things in Huntington Beach and I know that Kerry is feeling the same way at his crib in Irvine too.

So!  Have we got a fantastic podcast for you this week!  We sit down and have a conversation with Curt Apanovich about the fusion of video and still photography and where this is going to take us in the near future.

Curt’s extensive background in film and photography have combined to put him into the perfect position to take advantage of not just both mediums, but also to enable him to fuse the two together using the latest equipment and software available.

Curt gives some tips of getting started with video and how best to use video to compliment your photography.  You can check out Curt’s work at: http://www.curtapanovich.com and http://www.engagingfilms.com.

You can also subscribe to the podcast by clicking the iTunes button below.  We’re excited to be bringing you nearly 40 episodes of in-depth content and be sure to leave us some comments too.

Have a terrific Tuesday & I’ll chat with you tomorrow for our West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week – cheers!

Good Afternoon Again Everyone! This is it folks, the final installment of videos from WPPI 2009! Sure there were some technical issues, sure me & Kerry were working on almost no sleep (literally 1 hour a night at one point), sure we both looked like crap (Kerry said my eyes looked like they had black eyeliner on them from sleep deprivation), but we did the best we could to bring you as much of WPPI 2009 as we could.  And!  I really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did capturing it.

In this video we talk to Sara and Lauren from GO|Bee Bags (http://www.gobeebags.com), Jenny from Trendy Camera Straps (http://www.trendycamerastraps.com) and then a final note in front of the famous Las Vegas sign with Kerry before we hit the road back to Orange County.

There was so much to take in & we certainly enjoyed being there and meeting everyone. Now we can’t wait for next year – yeah!  I hope you enjoy them as much as we did shooting it & bringing it to you. Hopefully we’ll see a lot of you in 2010 for the anniversary WPPI event – cheers!

Good Afternoon Everyone!   If you haven’t had enough of me & Kerry in Las Vegas from WPPI, here are still more video interviews from WPPI 2009.

There was so much to see that we wanted top bring as much to you as possible. I know that the sound isn’t awesome but my new HD video camera died, so when I went out to buy a new one Saturday night –  we couldn’t find a replacement mic at Best Buy, Fry’s, Sony Store, or any of the electronics stores that litter the strip so we had to make due with what we had.  I hope you can still get the goods on what was going on there even though the sound wasn’t meeting the “Esquire Experience” standard.

In this episode we show some clips of shooting with Jeff and Dana Sipper (http://www.sipperphotography.com), Scarlett Lillian’s workshop (http://www.scarlettlillian.net), we see Pictage’s new slideshow tool, we then talk to Vu Bui about the FastTrack Bloggers Lounge and new video tutorials from the Bui Brothers (http://www.thebuibrothers.com),  and then head over to ShootSac (http://www.shootsac.com) to see their newest product.

So sit back for some good information & I hope you’re having a great start to your week – cheers!

Good Afternoon Everyone! As I’m sitting here catching up on emails and other correspondence in my office in Huntington Beach, I just got a “Tweet” from my close friend; Lan Bui about a video preview of the Blogger’s Lounge at WPPI that my friend Aaron Dieppa shot.

After I clicked on the link, my voice-less self was on there along with Kerry and our friend Vu Bui doing a Lovesac flip. Totally Hilarious!

I’m sure there is so much more to come from this wild trip! Check it out & have a super Friday – cheers!
