Good Morning Everyone!  As I stir about thumbing through the photos I snapped off with my P&S camera yesterday – I’m so glad that I braved the nearly 2 hour commute from Huntington Beach to Los Angeles.  Last night was the Los Angeles Pictage Holiday PUG Party at Life On Wilshire hosted by the glamourous Jules Bianchi.

Jules put together a party for everyone to enjoy that came in from all parts of Southern California.  The incredible Robert Evans was there after the live video chat with Dane Sanders at Photography Mentor.com, Roberto Valenzuela and his lovely wife attended, the talented Scott Anderson and so many many more people.  Rustin Cerveny from Fast Track Photographer was there too!  So I wasn’t the only FTP’r that rolled in for the party.

Here’s a few of my favourite snaps from my P&S camera that I thought I would share with you from last night’s par-tay.  What a fantastic way to keep the holiday season rolling – cheers!

Good Morning Everyone! This week we thought we’d spread some more festive merriment with some of the best artists in the world. We’re talking Sting, Boy George, Phil Collins, Bono, and so many many many more British & Irish artists. Oh need we mention that since some of us here at EP HQ are die hard Durannies, that Duran Duran happens to be in the video too.

If you haven’t guessed it by now (but we’re sure you have unless you’ve been under a rock or dead), it’s Live Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas.”

Live Aid was a multi-venue rock music concert held on July 13, 1985 (1985-07-13). The event was organized by Bob Geldof and Midge Ure to raise funds for famine relief in Ethiopia. Billed as the ‘global jukebox’, the event was held simultaneously in Wembley Stadium, London (attended by 82,000 people) and JFK Stadium, Philadelphia (attended by about 99,000 people). On the same day, concerts inspired by the initiative happened in other countries, such as Australia. It was one of the largest-scale satellite link-ups and television broadcasts of all time: an estimated 400 million viewers, across 60 countries, watched the live broadcast.

We hope your holiday season has gotten off to a fantastic start & have a fantastic West Coast Wednesday – cheers!

Good Evening Everyone!  I just got back in my Huntington Beach office from hanging out with Kerry at his Irvine studio & had an absolutely incredible email from Dana and Rod about their Wedding we did in downtown Long Beach.

This is what truly makes what I do worth it!  I hope you’re having an incredible week too – cheers!

“David,

I wanted to follow up with you to let you know we are SO HAPPY with the photos!  I absolutely LOVE every single one of them and that is going to make it so difficult to pic what goes into our wedding album.  You and Katherine did an outstanding job and I am telling everyone I know about you and the exquisite work product you produce!  Thank you so very much, David, for capturing our wedding memories in such a beautiful, creative and vivid way.  It is exactly what I wanted–you made my vision come to life!

Luv ya,

Dana Barajas”

Good Evening Everyone! I just got in from a totally fun afternoon with Leah & Darrell in downtown Long Beach for their Engagement Shoot. We started off at The Pike next to the ferris wheel as we played around laughing and telling jokes. Then made our way over to the Queen Mary for some of our totally stunning signature Artistic and Romantic portraits.

What’s super awesome and uber special about working with Leah for her weddings is that she & us actually all work together in “the biz.” Leah and her twin sister; Lindsey are a magical pair of fantastic wedding coordinators. They possess a very fun and fresh approach to planning weddings all the while meeting every detail to your day & then some. Check out her work at their website at The Double Knot, you’ll fall in love with them as we have over the years.

Here are a few of our favourites from their shoot today & we hope you enjoy them as much as we did capturing them. Have a super weekend – cheers!
