Good Evening Everyone!

I have one word that pretty much describes today… WHEW!  I’m totally whipped!

Four days ago, I was approached by my good friend and Esquire Photography Partner; Linda from A Wedding Store in Long Beach to meet with Mike from P.F.T. regarding doing a Mock Wedding Shoot at his multi-million dollar beach-front mansion in Belmont Shore.  It was so last minute, that I had to leave early from a client meeting where Katherine finished wrapping things up and hopped on the Ducati to meet up with Linda & Mike.

After our meeting, the crack squadron of awesome people here at Esquire Photography scrambled round the clock for four days to gather models and wardrobe from all walks of life and dress shops in the Southern California area for the shoot.  All the while, Linda and her dynamic team of people took care of the details to accessorize the shoot.

Within four days, we were able to have a multi-ethnic, sexually diverse group of models that showed up with the best attitude and willingness to get the job done in probably one of the shortest amounts of time, I’ve had to direct & shoot.

AND!  We even had ourselves a bit of a “Night Romantics” shoot at and around the beach with a few of the models that are just as die-hard as we are for taking advantage of a creative opportunity when the juices are flowing.

Everyone was so awesome and we couldn’t have done it without their help!  Along with Linda from A Wedding Store, we also had the incredible talent of Leanna Rodgers; Makeup Artist extraordinaire from Events On Location (562.688.7109) and Kellie Shelton – who is one heck of a designer AND commercial photographer (Not to mention “Estudious Girl In Glasses – stand in).

Good Afternoon Everyone!

I just received a wonderful email from Victoria & Dan about their Motorcycle Engagement Shoot we did for them yesterday.  In fact, I still have Bon Jovi’s; “Wanted Dead Or Alive” running through my head – awesome!  Check this out!

Good Evening Everyone!!!

I have nothing more to say other than to share with you lyrics from Bon Jovi’s; “Wanted Dead Or Alive” about Victoria & Dan’s Motorcycle Engagement Shoot.

As I rode my Ducati off into the world famous Southern California sunset to head back home with my gear from Leo Carrillo Beach in Malibu where we had their shoot – I had this song going through my head and I think it and their photos pretty much says it all.

Good Evening!  I just got in from a fantastic day with the coolest couple for their wedding.  You might remember Pamela & David from their Engagement Shoot we did back in May.  And, today was their big day!

Their day started off meeting up with Pamela along with some of her family and attendants at her home.  I was able to capture some beautiful details and fun candids while everyone was getting ready.  From there, we headed to the Westin Costa Mesa to meet up with the David & his crew.  I must say that I don’t remember the last time I laughed as much as I did with all the guys.  We even created a “Star of David” for one of the photos which was sung to The Monkey’s Theme Song.  :D

Pamela & David also decided to do their First Look at the hotel too  – which can be quite nerve-wrecking when you just want to sneak a glimpse of the person you’re madly in love with and going to spend the rest of your life with.

After their private moments with each other, we whisked away to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Irvine for their ceremony.  We weren’t allowed to capture any photos of their ceremony because of their faith, but that totally gave me an opportunity to capture the transformation of the hall at their church which looked like a ballroom in the clouds by Ross & Carolyn Stenquist.  If you need a room transformation with someone that is impeccable with details, then you should ring them up at 714.923.4470.

The reception was run by Ronn Canzano as everyone played games, watched a presentation by David, danced and kissed the night away.  Here are a few of my favourites from their day & I hope you enjoy them as much as I did capturing them.  Cheers!
