David Esquire Helps Lead The LA “Shoot This” Workshop In Downtown Los Angeles

So as I’m getting caught up on all the events that I’ve shot, I have one that I have been dying to share with you.  This past Sunday the 17th after Angela & Mike’s Engagement Shoot in Huntington Beach, I had the honour of helping lead the Los Angeles Shoot This Workshop at the Disney Music Hall in downtown Los Angeles.

I had the pleasure of working side-by-side some great photographers in Southern California.  My good friend Chris Diset and his lovely lady; Joelle Leder were there along with the rockin’ resident photographer here at Esquire Photography; Kerry Garrison.  Some of my good friends were there too from Fast Track Photographer like Danny “DMan” Mendoza and Jessica Conroy from Camera Slingers.

The weather was really wet, nasty, bleak & downright just miserable.  AND I LOVED IT!!!  This is my specialty for shooting in as it pushes me out of my comfort zone.  So with a lot of the attendees in my group feeling the pressure from the nasty weather, I did what I learned early on & pushed them wayyyyyyyy out of their comfort zone.  And, they rocked some killer shots!

We wrapped up the night by heading further into downtown Los Angeles next to Chinatown & had dinner at Philippe’s.  It was my first time going there & I’d have to say it was pretty good.  Not over-the-top yummy like I had expected – like let’s say Pink’s Hot Dogs or The Apple Pan – but still a delicious way to wrap up a great photo workshop that I helped lead.

So before you scroll down to check out some of the photos that I caught at the workshop and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California, feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct at david@esquirephotography.com.  You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.

So without further ado, here are some of my portraits I captured with my micro four-thirds GF-1 camera and feel free to leave a comment below to let me know what you think. I’ll be helping lead more of the Los Angeles Shoot This Workshops, so if you’d like to join in, it would be great to see you there – cheers!
