Good Evening Everyone! This blog posting is coming to you straight out of Huntington Beach, California – just a pinch behind the Curtain in Orange County.
Earlier this evening I had the honour of being a Guest Speaker at the Long Beach Pictage User Group at Christine Lee Smith’s home office in of course – you guessed it – Long Beach, California.
I chatted about something that is very difficult and at times – seems like something lost during the Templar Knight’s Crusade. It was about being true to yourself and your clients.
For my presentation, I shared some of my story about how I got to be where I am today as a professional wedding and portrait photographer. I also had an interactive program that brought others into my presentation so we could all do a bit of self discovery about who we are what makes us tick as well.
All in all, I was very happy about my presentation & what was really cool was afterwards some of us went out for a cold beverage (my good friend Danny Mendoza & I shared a pitcher of Newcastle – YUM!) and then a select few of us (including moi) headed to a Del Taco. Which we proceeded to close over some good eats and yes, you know it – NACHOS!
So whether you’re an Orange County photographer, a Pictage user or someone that is looking for a way to break up your week and collaborating with other cool photographers, you should attend one.
If you’d like to attend the Long Beach PUG, you can register on the Long Beach Pictage User Group page, or feel free to Contact Me through the website or email me directly at david@esquirephotography.com.
Below are some fun snaps that Christine captured at the Pictage User Group. I even snuck in my ever-so-popular version of a Blue Steel pose.
