Felicia & John’s Costa Mesa Wedding, Nov. 7, 2009

Good evening from Huntington Beach, California everyone!  It’s Sunday night and I couldn’t wait to share Felicia & John’s wedding yesterday at the Westin in Costa Mesa, California.

Felicia & John’s traditional Jewish wedding and reception was held at sunset in the waterfall courtyard which was absolutely lovely with floral arrangements from Mr. Justin Cadotte at Colors of Rapture Event Floral Design.  Rabbi Heather Ellen Miller performed the marriage ceremony while Mike from Gould Video and I popped around in the background capturing the various angles of the wedding.

Immediately after the wedding ceremony we captured some classic and timeless portraits with their family and some fun portraits with the bridal party.  Felicia and John were even adventurous for the group portrait with the bridal party as the two of them sat on the piano in the bar while the rest of the wedding party was gathered around them.

Once we excused the bridal party, that was when the magic happened around the property for some of my Signature Artistic & Romantic portraits.  I love shooting at the Westin in Costa Mesa – there are so many little corners and spots that if  you’re not looking, you would totally miss them.

DJ Aaron from Night To Remember DJ’s kept everyone movin and groovin on the dance floor throughout the night while I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Willie Alcaraz and his team from The Westin who rolled out the red carpet in service for the guests and family.
