Fullterton Wedding Photography | Hillcrest Park | Hillcrest Terrace | Huntington Beach Wedding Photography

Good afternoon from Huntington Beach everyone!  I’m back at Esquire Photography HQ after a busy day of being a camera operator in the new auditorium at my church (Sea Coast Grace in Cypress) and then an shooting an interview with my friend & writer; Kim from the LA Times of Risa & James for their Laguna Niguel Wedding next weekend at the Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel.

I was working on Monique & Jonathon’s Fullerton Wedding yesterday & couldn’t wait to hold off on sharing it with you.  I recently had the honour of filling in as a lead photographer for my colleague & friend; Johanna as she was double booked shooting another wedding that day.

Their ceremony held at Hillcrest Terrace at Hillcrest Park was under a crystal clear blue sky that made a terrific canopy for all the splashes of colour that they had for their wedding.  For starters, instead of traditional seating, they opted for a spiral pattern of chairs for their guests with their ceremony in the middle.  Irene & her associate from OC Strings performed for the wedding processional & recessional, while the guests were able to enjoy the wedding from their spiraled seats.

After the ceremony, we were able to have some classic portraits with the family and then some really fun portraits with the wedding party.  Once the classic portraits were done, Monique & Jonathon and I headed across the park where I was able to capture some quiet moments between them with the most amazing sunset.

Monique & Jonathon’s family & friends really took me in like I was an old friend.  In fact, two of Monique’s good friends; Noelle (who reminded me of Demi Moore) & Jenn (who reminded me of Taylor Swift) and I totally hit it off being silly throughout the entire wedding day.

The wedding day was capped off with a couple of traditional Hawaiian dances and DJ Danny from Tana Promotions kept the wedding reception swinging throughout the starry night.

So before you check out Monique & Jonathon’s Fullerton Wedding at Hillcrest Terrace and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer in Orange County, California that wants to enjoy life to the fullest and capture all the infinite memories that happen throughout the day, then feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

So without further ado, here is Monique & Jonathon’s Fullerton Wedding in a beautiful slide show that I put together.  I hope you’re having a great weekend & stay tuned for so much more that I have to share with you from a fantastic wedding season – cheers!

  • Jonathon Jensen - David, thanks so much for doing monique’s and my wedding. We had a blast that day shooting with you and the photos turned out so beautifully. We also feel honored that you put a slideshow up of our wedding on your website. You are so talented that I’m sure you take so many great photos, by that you chose to put our photos up is an honor. I hope everything is going well with you and your wife, maybe I’ll see you around some time. I see that we go to the same church. Kinda cool. I go to the 10:30 service on Sundays of you’re there I’ll try to look out for you and say hi.

  • David Esquire - Hey Jonathon,

Thanks so much for the note & it was an honour to be a part of yours and Monique’s wedding day. I had such a great time & I loved how you both were open to some fun and romantic portraits after the wedding.

That’s great to hear you’re attending the same church that I go to! What are the odds! Did you go to service this past Sunday? The new auditorium is ahhhmayzeeng! :-)

Hopefully we’ll see each other at church if I’m able to go to the later service or you’re able to go to the earlier service. :-)
