Mackenzie And Steven’s Sunset Wedding In Newport Beach, California

Good evening everyone!  I have a fantastic story to share with you about Mackenzie & Steven’s Newport Beach Wedding day.  But first, you may remember how our story kicked off with them for their Engagement Shoot that I did for them back in June at the Ponte Family Estate Winery in Temecula, California.

I was introduced to Mackenzie & Steven about their wedding through Mackenzie’s sister; Marcy from the Wyndham in Costa Mesa, CA.  I knew after our initial meeting that Mackenzie & Steven would be such an awesome couple to get to know & share a slice of their lives as well.

Fast forward to yesterday and all I can say is wow! Not only did I get to wear flip flops while for their wedding day, but I got to get to hang out with all their friends and family – who took me in like I was a old friend of Mackenzie & Steven.  There was so much personal touch to the wedding too.  Marcy gave Mackenzie her veil that she wore for her wedding so Mackenzie would have “something borrowed” and the beautiful wedding cake was by Aunt Becky & Aunt Jeanette.

While Mackenzie looked stunning in her Alfred Angelo wedding dress and her entourage of ladies complimented her with beautifully colourful bridesmaids gowns – Steven & his men were sharp as a razor’s edge in their three piece suits.

I had the pleasure of shooting side-by-side with an awesome videographer; VK Cho out of Los Angeles and John Minar not only spun the tunes throughout the wedding day & reception, but he also performed some excellent vocals while strumming an acoustic guitar.

I would like to also give up the props to Ms. Patty Leemhuis from Newport Dunes Special Events out of Newport Beach, California.  She made sure that every little detail for Mackenzie & Steven’s wedding reception was met with the white glove touch from her top-shelf attentive staff.
