Good morning out of Huntington Beach, California everyone! If you weren’t at the Orange County Wine & Food Center in Costa Mesa last night, then you totally missed an excellent event overflowing with refreshing wines and succulent flavours for your palete of this incredible season.
There was everything from over 100 chilled white wines and roses to cooling cocktails and tantalizing gourmet hors d’oeurves using only the freshest ingredients. They served up crispy white corn and summer truffle croustillante “Explosions,” heirloom tomato, oyster & fresh wasabi shooters, mini-kobe beef tartare “tacos” with white soy Bearnaise and some surprises by Chef Paul. Basically everything that will make for the perfect Mid-Summer Night!
I showed up with my camera & I’m so glad I did, because I was able to capture a few photos of the event throughout the night. If you missed this one, there’s The Cocktail Party coming up on Monday, August 24th with Chef Paul Squicciarini that you should check out. They’ll have finger foods, hors d’oeuvres and a variety of other delicious items.
