Good Evening Everyone! I just got back in my office in Huntington Beach and I am so eager to tell you about my day with Tami and Scott for their wedding. Their day kicked off as I met up with everyone at Park Prive’ in Costa Mesa so I could hang out and capture pleanty of candids with the family, details of the location elegantly decorated with perfect floral arrangements by Melanie from Bella Blooms and some silly snaps with Tami’s entourage.
Before the ceremony Scott and his men were totally cool as we took over a portion of Park Prive’ for their portraits as they reenacted some “Godfather’esq” styled shots. Tami was so thoughtful with her gifts and gave a fresh water pearl necklace to Scott’s mother – which I found to be done in very good tasted indeed.
After the ceremony we did Tami & Scott’s portraits on the back lawn with pleanty of help from my new assistant that was doing who knows what behind me to keep everyone laughing & sharing their beautiful smiles. We even got really crazy & climbed one of the enourmous rocks that is on the lawn too as the bridal party got their rockstar portraits on!
Adam Medart from the Orange County Wine & Food Center oversaw the catering staff for impeccable service throughout the entire dinner and DJ Neko (619.992.4128) made sure that the reception’s events stayed on track with some killer mixes. Not to mention that Cori Sponagle planned Tami & Scott’s wedding day with more grace & kindness than I have experienced in a very long time.
I hope you enjoyed the photos as much as I did along with one the best cake smashings ever. It was a bit of a mini food fight!
I must say that I truly felt like I spent my Saturday with close friends that I’ve known for years. AND! We struck a pose at the end of the night to show off or best “Blue Steels.” Cheers!
pegge - David,
Just wanted to say what a wonderful job you did at Tami and Scotts wedding. It was suich a beautiful time and you added to the festivities with your great smile and attitude. The pics are beautiful! I would love to know if some of the familiy shots are available for purchase outside of whatever Tami and Scott get. Our family doesn’t get together often enough as we are spread all over. I am particularly interested to know if you got a shot of the father of the bride (my dad) and the flower girl skipping down the aisle. You are absolutely wonderful at your job and I so enjoyed sharing this special occasion with you. Thanks for everything! Your a doll!
Pegge (Tami’s sister who didn’t want her pic taken…..not the wild one that was your “assistant”! :) God Bless!
