Good evening from Huntington Beach, California everyone!  So one of the founding members of Generation X is currently on a world tour right now.  I can tell you in fact that this artist also has had the ability to rock the house consistently for more than 2 decades — AND — I had the pleasure of witnessing him bring the house down at Moby’s; Area One.

Some people have told me that my hair tends to be a copy of his when I spike it up a bit and from time-to-time you’ll hear me blasting his music out of the official EP Mobile; Rio (My Mini Cooper S Clubman).

You probably know who I’m talking about & if you do – then you know that the rocker himself — Billy Idol is the feature of this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.

Here’s the first bit of Billy Idol’s bio from his website.  I think that it really starts to sum him and his brand up quite well…

“Rock stars come and go, but Idol is forever…

BILLY IDOL remains crucial to rock ‘n’ roll. His style, charm, charisma and bravado transcend trends and time. Where would rock music be without him? Would it look the same? Would it sound the same? Who hasn’t chanted along to “Rebel Yell,” “Mony Mony” or “White Wedding”?”

And speaking of White Wedding, I think that it would be the perfect song for such a crazy fun and busy wedding season that I’m having.

So there ya have it!  This week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week is going to be White Wedding by Billy Idol.

But before you check out this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer that is on the bleeding edge of fashion, music and videos, feel free to contact me anytime.

Good evening from Huntington Beach everyone! Without sounding toooooooo redundant, last week was my second full week of grad nights, a little sleep deprivation and then a fun Saturday with Patricia & Paul for their Wedding at The Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton.  But!  I still got gnarly at EPHQ yesterday working on some more events to share with you.  One of which, I recently had the honour of being a part of – is Aira & Paul’s Dana Point wedding at The South Shores Church & reception that was held not far from their church at the Chart House.

When I arrived at Aira’s home in Dana Point, she was having the finishing touches done with her hair & makeup.  The energy was electric and everyone was so excited about the day.  Aira also had a delicious treat for me too!  She had a box of some traditional tea for me.  I’ve had some and I want to say that it is yuuuuummy!

Aira & Paul’s wedding ceremony was lit with beautiful stained glass throughout the church and the floral arrangements from Amazing Blooms in Orange County made the air not only light, but romantic.  Which was a great mix for an intimate wedding with their closest friends & family.

After the ceremony, we headed out to the strand near the beach so I could capture some of my Signature Romantic & Deamy portraits of Aira & Paul.  But immediately after we got back to the Chart House & they made their grand entrance – I was up on the roof of the restaurant capturing a huge group portrait with the bay and ocean in the background.  Talk about a great way to kick off a reception!  There’s even a quick snap of me doing a pose on the roof too.  LOL!

But before you check out Aira & Paul’s Dana Point Wedding and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that wants to enjoy life to the fullest.  Then feel free to contact me anytime.

We are really enjoy to have you as our photographer!
and glad you enjoy the little treat =)

    Thank you~~~~~~~~~~!

Good morning from Huntington Beach, California everyone!  You know when a song is “played out” and you just don’t want to hear it again over & over & over.  I was thinking this morning that – yes, that would be the case but only if it’s a song that probably doesn’t have sentimental value to a person.

For instance, let me point out that even though I have probably listened to Rio by Duran Duran more times that I can probably count since the first time I saw the video back in the early 80’s – I will never tire of the song.  In fact, I probably listen to it and/or watch the video at least once a day every day.  Which will continue till the end of my life.  I love that song so much and what it means to me, that I even got a tattoo of the album cover on my right shoulder.  And, the album cover happens to be a piece of Art from one of my favourite artists; the late Patrick Nagel.

So as I was thinking about my brother Tony’s wedding that I had the honour of being the Best Man at last September.  You can see some of his wedding & how much fun it was on my good friends; Jeff & Dana Sipper’s Website (aka: NOT McTographers.  LOL!).  With all the music that was played at his wedding, one of the songs that was gaining a lot of momentum on the charts was I Got A Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.  Now it’s heard at 99.9% of the receptions, parties, and more.  I’ve seen people cringe when they hear it (kinda like Celebration by Kool & The Gang – an industry staple song) but I have to tell you that the connection that I have with the song is much deeper as it was one of my brother’s and his wife; Annie’s favourite songs at their reception.

So there ya have it!  I’m sure you’ve guessed that this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week is going to be Rio by Duran Duran.  LOL!  Not.  It’s going to be I Got A Feeling by the Black Eyed Peas.

Good evening from Huntington Beach everyone!  What do you get when you have a gorgeous chupah, a world class sunset in San Diego harbour while aboard a private vessel from Yacht Vacation Rental, two of the cutest daughters and a couple that is madly in love with each other?  You have one amazing wedding with Heather, Mark and their two daughters.

Up until recently, Heather was my neighbor here at Esquire Photography HQ.  We would bump into each other from time-to-time and her daughter would refer to me as; “neighbor.”  So when Heather rang me up a couple months ago & invited me over to chat about her wedding and whether or not I had photographed a Jewish ceremony and if I had photographed on a boat too.  I was happy to share a resounding yes with her as I’ve done both many many times over the years.

Fast forward & I’m driving down to San Diego harbour to meet up with everyone for their wedding.  As we all boarded the yacht, you could feel the excitement in the air by everyone.  The yacht was gorgeous and provided a terrific backdrop where I was able to capture pleanty of relaxed and candid portraits while we began the various traditions of their Jewish ceremony.  And, Heather & Mark’s beautiful ketubah was so amazing that I had to use it for one of my classic ring portraits.  But that was done before we set out to sea for their wedding ceremony.

So before you check out Heather & Mark’s sunset wedding on a yacht in San Diego harbour, and you’re thinking to yourself… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that shoots weddings all over from OC to LA to Ventura and on a yacht in San Diego harbour.  Feel free to contact me anytime.

So without further ado, here is Heather & Mark’s wedding in a slide show that I put together.  You can also enjoy their wedding on Pictage and I hope you are having a great start to your week – cheers!

PS, We even did a self portrait while I had on my Yamaka too.  But it was a really nice silver satin – which blended in with my platinum blond coiffe.  LOL!

Good morning from Huntington Beach everyone! So after a full week of grad nights & sleep deprivation, I still got gnarly on the Mac Pro yesterday working on some more events to share with you.  One of which, I recently had the honour of being a part of – is Lori & Grant’s Tustin wedding day & reception that was held at the Tustin Banquet Center.

When I arrived at the Tustin Banquet Center, Lori was in the bridal suite putting the final touches on her makeup and hair.  Her Pronovias bridal gown was a perfect mix between couture and epic – giving Lori the perfect dress for her day.  Grant & his men were chillin in the next room over across from the courtyard.  There was the hugest fireplace in their room & I was able to sneak a portrait of the guys just moments before their wedding ceremony.

Lori & Grant’s ceremony was backlit with beautiful stained glass, accents around the ceiling and floral arrangements from Posy Fine Floral Design in Tustin and flawlessly officiated by Mr. Greg Mohr from You May Kiss The Bride.  Their wedding ceremony was light-hearted, sincere and romantic – which is a great mix for a fun wedding with your closest friends & family.

Speaking of family… There were tons of family (or should I say, “my people”) from England.  And can they party too!  There was not a dull moment during the reception that DJ Tim Coy from California DJ’s rocked.  He kept everyone enjoying a veritable cornucopia of music that everyone could enjoy from rock & roll to hip hop and dance rock.

I would have to say that from the beginning of Lori & Grant’s day to the end of the night – so many memories & great times happened in front of me to capture.  The candid portraits when Lori & her ladies were getting ready, the artistic & funky portraits we did after the ceremony and all the wild & crazy fun photographs during the reception.  You’ll even see me make a couple of cameo appearances as well in the slideshow.  Just wait!

But before you check out Lori & Grant’s wedding at the Tustin Banquet Center in (you guessed it…) Tustin and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that wants to enjoy life to the fullest.  Or better yet, has been operating throughout my day today on 7 1/2 hours of sleep in three days, then feel free to contact me anytime.
