Good evening/morning from Huntington Beach everyone!  I think I might eventually be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel catching up on my blogging & I have a fantastic wedding to share with you.  I recently had the honour of being a part of Kate & Don’s Newport Beach wedding day that kicked off at the Balboa Inn & then just a skip down the block to the Harbourside Grand Ballroom at the Balboa Pavilion for their ceremony & reception.

Throughout Kate & Don’s wedding day, I was working side-by-side with the infamous Lindsay Longacre from LVL Weddings & Events located in Newport Beach.  She and her right-wing’d woman; Arielle not only made what I needed to do a breeze.  But, orchestrated a flawless wedding day for Kate & Don.  From the moment Kate slipped into her epic Paloma Blanca wedding gown to the last dance when Kate & Don were grooving on the dance floor with tunes spun by Brian over at Elevated Pulse Productions, LLC.  No detail too large or too small was missed!

Kate & Don gave me pretty much a blank check in creativity for their wedding day & let me just tell you that I took full advantage of the opportunity.  Kate & her ladies and Don & his men killed their portraits before the ceremony.  After the ceremony & family portraits, Kate & Don were spectacular for me to do some of my Signature Romantic & Sexy Portraits around the Balboa Fun Zone.  We (Or should I say “I” – LOL!) even did our best to not fall into the ocean for their Night Romantic Portraits at the end of the night too.

And… Can I just say that Kate & Don’s family & friends know how to party.  Wholly guacamole!  I had a complete blast during their wedding day.  Everyone was smiling, laughing and having a great time all the way around & it totally shows in the photos.

But before you check out Kate & Don’s wedding at the Balboa Pavilion in Newport Beach and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that wants to enjoy life to the fullest.  Or better yet, believes in a couple of quotes from my favourite movies like: “A man can change his stars” from Knight’s Tale or “Pain heals, chicks dig scars, glory lasts forever” from The Replacements, then feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via Twitter, Facebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

So without further ado, here is Kate & Don’s wedding in a slide show that I put together.  I hope you are having a great week & stay tuned for tomorrow’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week too – cheers!

PS, check out the “paparazzi” that I caught on print when they drove past Kate, Don & I during their portraits.  They had no idea that they were that famous!

PSS, Check it out!  I couldn’t decide which ring photo to use – so I included all three.  Talk about “frosting!”

  • Kate - Thank you so much, David! I love this montage and what you’ve done with the photos. They look amazing. Thanks again!

  • Lisa b - Loved the video and your pictures… When I grow up I want the last name Esquire :-)

Good afternoon from Huntington Beach at Esquire Photography HQ everyone!  I’ve got a fantastic couple to share with you that you may remember from their Rock-n-Romantic Engagement Shoot that I did with them in Huntington Beach last September.

Or… maybe you recognize the beautiful sunset photo that is in the header of my website and at the end of the video on the Portraits Page.

Well if you do & the two names; Jennifer & Joey come to mind – then you’re a winner!  Winner winner – chicken dinner!

Our adventure began when our paths crossed at a Bridal Showplace event that I did spoke at & had a booth at last year.  The three of us just clicked & they hired me on the spot that day at the end of the bridal show.

I knew that Jennifer & Joey were going to be awesome to work with after for their wedding.  But once we did their Engagement Shoot in Huntington Beach – we all knew that it was only the tip of the iceberg for how much fun it was going to be on their Wedding Day in Redlands.

Their Wedding Day was at the historic Mitten Building in Redlands where Dartyle & his staff made sure everything was perfect.  I even was able to get a feel for the Mitten Building’s history and artistic opportunities when Jennifer, Joey and I did some location scouting a couple weeks prior to their wedding.  But when I arrived on the day of their wedding – Dartyle made the Mitten Building even more spectacular than I remembered from location scouting.

Their wedding and reception was decorated with floral designs and other gentle accents from Christina Barrigan with Unforgettable Events.  And, when the delicious Tiffany’s coloured wedding cake arrived from The Cake Shop in Apple Valley – everything not only looked perfect & ready for their wedding, but smelled amazing too.

I popped into the bridal suite where I found Jennifer having final touches to her makeup by Gina Farrar before she slipped into her beautiful wedding gown from David’s Bridal.  Jennifer was absolutely stunning and Joey along with his entourage looked as if they were ready to take Vegas with how smart they looked.

From the ceremony to the dancing to the encore of Rock-n-Romantic portraits with Jennifer & Joey after their wedding at the old train startion, everything was completely perfect.

Before you check out Jennifer & Joey’s wedding at the Mitten Building in Redlands and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that shoots weddings all over from OC to LA to Ventura and to San Diego.  Feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

So without further ado, here is Jennifer & Joey’s wedding in a little slide show that I put together.  You can also enjoy their wedding on Pictage and I hope you are having a great weekend – cheers!

Good morning from Huntington Beach, California everyone!  Keeping in-line with the new look of my website, I wanted to share a really awesome group of talented artists for this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.

Hot off the streets Fergie teamed up with David Guetta, LMFAO, and Chris Willis for “Getting Over You,” and this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video is smokin HOT. The track was originally included on Guetta’s album One Love and featured Chris Willis, but in this new version – he brought in Fergie and LMFAO to the party and the result is a whole new song that totally rocks.

America’s Best Dance Crew 2010 champions; JabbaWockeeZ make an appearance on the song as well.  How cool is that!

But before I present you with this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer that’s on the bleeding edge of fashion, music and videos, feel free to contact me anytime.
