img_6165a.jpgGood Evening! This is one super EXHAUSTED photographer that spent the day in the desert out in Palm Springs and Indio, California. The shoot was held with several colleagues in the “biz” along with several modeling couples that were very very eager to experiment with new poses, locations and direction.

We started off in the middle of the desert with a tractor that was left to rust to infinity and then we headed to another location with this enourmous rock wall as we shot some very sultry portraits. After all that, we headed to Salton Sea in Indio, CA to create some etheral and thought-provoking images.

Here are some of my favourites from the day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did getting sun-burnt in the middle of the desert – cheers!

img_5896.jpgGood Evening! I just got in from an absolutely fabulous wedding! Today, my partner-in-crime & resident Associate Photographer; Kerry and I had the honour of working with Brigitta & Michael for their beautiful, sunset wedding at The Pacific Edge in Laguna Beach, California.

Brigitta looked as if she just stepped of the page of French Vogue & Michael could easily have been a stand in for a Canali ad. Most of Brigitta’s family came to the states from Europe to be a part of their special day & it was truly a melting pot of cultures as everyone danced the night away.

My good friend Priscilla from At Your Service Catering did an absolutely flawless job of arranging everything from the ceremony, dinner, to the flowers and cake, and all the way down to ensuring that the table linens were folded properly for the reception. Absolutely Amazing!

Brigitta & Michael’s wedding day was a perfect combination of culture, laughter, and beauty. Oh, and let’s not forget our world class sunsets!

Here are a few of my favourites from their day. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did – cheers!

jenchrisblog6.jpgRocky Mountain High… Ok, not really. But I just got back in from an engagement shoot up in Big Bear for Jennifer & Chris. Even though I’m already commissioned for their wedding date (6-7-8), I was totally honoured that they had me do their engagement shoot. And, they really wanted to have it up in Big Bear too, which is a totally beautiful place to visit & shoot at.

Our day started off at Starbucks for some legal addictive stimulants & then we headed out to one of my favourite place in Big Bear that is a bit more secluded from all the tourists that come up for the day.

Even though there wasn’t much snow up in Big Bear, we still were able to capture some artistic and relaxed portraits all the while braving the really intense brisk wind that was blowing through this afternoon. All three of us had some sniffly noses through the shoot, but we stayed the course! :-)

Here are a few of my favourites from their engagement shoot & I hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them – cheers!

knmblog1001.jpgI received this from my father-in-law & pretty much laughed my rear off with most of them. What’s scary is that I would probably do some of them just for shock value!

1. At Lunch Time, Sit In Your Parked Car With Sunglasses on and Point a Hair Dryer At Passing Cars. See If They Slow Down.

2. Page Yourself Over The Intercom. Don’t Disguise Your Voice.

3. Every Time Someone Asks You To Do Something, ask If They Want Fries with that.

4. Put Your Garbage Can On Your Desk And Label it “In”.

5. Put Decaf In The Coffee Maker For 3 Weeks, once Everyone has Gotten over Their Caffeine Addictions, Switch to Espresso.

6. In The Memo Field Of All Your Checks, Write “For Smuggling Diamonds”.

7. Finish All Your sentences with “In Accordance With The Prophecy”.

8. Don’t use any punctuation.

9. As Often As Possible, Skip Rather Than Walk.

10. Order a Diet Water whenever you go out to eat, with a serious face.

11. Specify That Your Drive-through Order Is “To Go”.

12. Sing Along At The Opera.

13. Go To A Poetry Recital. And Ask Why The Poems Don’t Rhyme?

14. Put Mosquito Netting Around Your Work Area and Play tropical Sounds All Day.

15. Five Days In Advance, Tell Your Friends You Can’t Attend Their Party Because You’re Not In the Mood.

16. Have Your Co-workers Address You By Your Wrestling Name, Rock Bottom.

17. When The Money Comes Out The ATM, Scream “I Won! I Won!”

18. When Leaving The Zoo, Start Running Towards The Parking lot, Yelling “Run For Your Lives! They’re Loose!”

19. Tell Your Children Over Dinner, “Due To The Economy, We Are Going To Have To Let One Of You Go.”

20. And The Final Way To Keep A Healthy Level Of Insanity… Send This To Someone To Make Them Smile. Its Called … therapy.

Have a great weekend – cheers!
