kimbillblog1000.JPGThe Dress! The Sunglasses! The Love! The Fun! The Tears! And of Course… The Laughs!

That is the best way that I can describe the absolutely incredible time I had today with Kim & Bill, their family and all of their friends. Anyone that knows me, knows that I’m a huge fan of working with couples that feel the same way I do about embracing life, embracing romance, and embracing the laughter. Kim & Bill are the epitome of all of that. I had a small taste of it with their engagement shoot and it was shown to me completely throughout their wedding day today.

Their wedding was at the Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach next to where the Pageant of the Masters is held. There are giant Birds of Paradise, California Sycamore Trees, Blooming Bougainvillea and a variety of flowers that encircle the Tivoli Terrace creating a romantic French Garden setting perfect Kim & Bill’s wedding day.

When you go up a dramatic staircase you will find the garden wedding chapel surrounded by flowering hillside, pine trees, hanging stained glass and garden statuary. Tivoli Terrace a sense of Europe… visions of romance…a place of beauty.

As I just went through some of their photographs, you can see how they look into each others eyes and they’re not just looking at each other right now, but they’re looking at each other with the love that they have and the future that they can see themselves in together.

Thank you for inviting me to be a part of your special day! You are an absolutely gorgeous couple with an amazing family and terrific friends! May your lives be filled with all of the same qualities that you have shown me during this special day. Cheers!

krissydaveblog2000.JPGThere is something to be said about a wedding in a church filled with stained glass. The light that filters through splashes every colour of the rainbow throughout the inside of the church. Beautiful!

That said, Krissy & Dave chose to have their wedding at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Los Alamitos that is filled with stained glass. Their ceremony had Monet written all over it; with the soft colours, a traditional service and the stunning gown that Krissy was wearing.

Afterwards, we gathered in the courtyard to take advantage of nearly the entire family being in town for some very large family portraits. Then I rode with Krissy & David in their limo as they called other family & friends that couldn’t make it into town. Just before they made their entrance into the reception (which was at The Meadowlark Golf Course), we stopped to do some beautiful fine art portraits with the rolling hills in the background.

As everyone enjoyed themselves, the reception seemed like it was over right after it started. DJ Ray Martinez did a fantastic job keeping things moving without a lul anywhere through the night.

Thank you for sharing your special day with me! It was truly spectacular – cheers!
