Good morning from caffeinated HQ of Esquire Photography in Orange County everyone!

I’m one Orange County wedding photographer who’s been packing & purging quite a bit at EPHQ & realized it’s not only the 4th of July holiday, but it’s always West Coast Wednesday, which means I want to share this week’s Wedding Tip Of The Week with you.

As I’m sure you’ve seen on Twitter & Facebook I love being able to help brides & grooms save time, money, and their sanity planning a wedding and I think today’s wedding tip from Elegala will help you Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day AND have some much more creative ideas for wedding favours.

So for today’s wedding tip, I have some great advice on how to wow your wedding guests with awesome wedding favours.  So instead of the usual ho-hum, been there-done that wedding favours, you can surprise everyone with your panache for uniqueness.

Check this out!

Late-night munchies
After dancing for hours, rolling out individual snacks like mini-hamburgers with a fixings bar is a big hit.

Photo shop
Rent a photo booth and let your guests take turns posing for the camera. Add props like costumes, hats, sunglasses, and even chalkboards where the guests can write messages to photograph themselves with. Then set up a DIY station with mini-frames so they can take home their favorite shots.

Escape the elements
If you really want to impress, give your guests something sublimely stylish yet useful to keep them smiling through the elements: stylish sunglasses (to deflect glare), sleek umbrellas (in case of rain), or cashmere scarves (should a breeze pick up.)

Personalized thank-yous
Place small journals at each place setting, and write every guest a personal thank-you note on the front page.

Make some noise
Liven up the party by handing out maracas, small horns, or even kazoos – a great idea for a relaxed affair or a particularly festive bunch.

Family favorites
Gather a collection of favorite family recipes from both sides into a small recipe book or box printed with your names and wedding date.

Final farewell
Enlist the parking attendants to place a flower with an attached thank-you note on the dashboard of each car. If you’ll be providing guest transportation, be sure to place a basket of these favors at the front of the bus for guests to take prior to departure.

Give back
Yes, this idea has been done, but altruism is at an all-time high, and we’re jumping on the bandwagon. Donating in the name of your guests to a charity, one that holds special meaning for the two of you, adds another sentimental personal touch to your wedding

So there it is!

He was a total blast & to read this as my day is getting going is so totally awesome (Plus I love how he spoofed on my slogan & the number of photos that were photographed over the entire week. LOL!).

Your photos are waaaaaaaaaay above average!!!
It’s 1:00 AM on July 3rd and I just finished looking at all 5,000 photos. (I started viewing them at 4:15 PM on July 2nd). I’m just kidding…..I didn’t start looking at them until 4:16 PM.

Thank you so much, David. I will pass your name along to all my friends. ; )

Good afternoon from Esquire Photography HQ in Newport Beach everyone!

I’m a Newport Beach Wedding Photographer who got up at “O’Dark Thirty” & rocking the post production of Christina & Michael’s Corona wedding I photographed yesterday and as I’m reviewing the nearly 2,000 photographs I captured – I am excited to share with you a collection of my favourites from their wedding I photographed at the Champions Club at The Retreat.

Their fairytale Corona Wedding was absolutely perfect beyond belief.  Michael & his men were impeccable in their tuxes from Friar Tux and Christina looked like she stepped out of a Audrey Hepburn movie in her Madeline Gardner wedding gown by Mori Lee, a bouquet from Floral Sensations, a garter her friend; Liz made that was Star Wars themed and her handkerchief her mother made for her when she was a little girl.

Christina & Michael’s sunset wedding ceremony was filled with tears of joy and a wedding reception that seriously rocked through the night with the guys from JC Entertainment.  From the Blessing Dance (in place of a money dance), a Garter & Bouquet Toss that got seriously rowdy (YEAH!), an epic cake from Cucamonga Cakery that was perfect for the delicate cake cutting – which was followed up with a ginourmous group photo that I instigated with everyone in the room and a few of my Signature Night Romantic portraits with Christina & Michael under the moon-lit sky.  It was like I said; a Fairytale Wedding.

I would like to say thanks to Trevor & Liz from Event Filming.net.  As I mentioned last night, you both were a totally awesome to work with & I seriously am eager to work with you again.

ALSO!  I have to give a MEGA Wholly Nachos & Newcastles shout out to Ms. Lyndsey Thomas, Valservenience Director and Sandy the Banquet Captain at the Champions Club at The Retreat too.  You two ladies led a brigade of professionals – making sure Christina & Michael’s Corona fairytale wedding was absolutely perfect for me to capture beautiful and timeless photographs for their family & friends to enjoy throughout the years.  You guys totally rock!!!

I’ve put together a beautiful slide show of just a few of my favourite photographs I captured during Christina & Michael’s Corona Wedding at the Champions Club at The Retreat below.  But before you scroll down to check it out and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves weddings & romance, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebookPinterest, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a great weekend and stay tuned for some amazing events that I’m sharing.  From San Diego to Newport Beach, Ventura and all the way out to Berlin, Germany, London, England and Paris, France – I’ll have some fantastic Weddings, Lifestyle Photo Shoots and Events that I’ve had the honour of photographing – cheers!

PS, Check out this awesome quote I shared on Twitter & Facebook keeping the “Butterfly Effect” moving forward – spreading positivity.  I really think it is so very true.  “All our DREAMS CAN COME TRUE, if we have the courage to pursue them.” – Walt Disney
