Good evening from caffeinated Esquire Photography in Orange County everyone!  I’m one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer who is totally excited to share a romantic San Diego wedding I recently had the honour of photographing at the Fallbrook Wedgewood Golf Club.

With all the exciting Engagement Shoots, Portraits and Weddings I’ve been capturing photographs of from Newport Beach down to San Diego and all the way up to Oakland – this particular wedding that I’m sharing tonight of Sarah & Alex is one of the most infectious weddings of love, happiness and unity.

I first met up with Sarah & Alex in Las Vegas when I was there shooting and attending a convention.  We took a few hours to get to know each other over a brunch & it was a totally amazing connection and I really got to know them over the past year.

Sarah & Alex’s San Diego wedding day was filled with laughter, a yummy cake, romance and tons of fun throughout the reception.  I even was able to capture some of my Signature Night Romantic portraits of them, except during the day – which was totally fun!.

I would like to give a shout out to Michael, Aubree & Jessica at the Fallbrook Wedgewood Golf Club too – who led a brigade of professionals making sure Sarah & Alex’s San Diego wedding was absolutely perfect.  You guys rock!!!

I’ve put together a beautiful slide show of just a few of my favourite photographs from Sarah & Alex’s San Diego Wedding at the Fallbrook Wedgewood Golf Club below.  But before you scroll down to check it out and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves music & fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.  Perhaps you’re a fan of Nachos & Newcastles (My favourite snack!) like Duran Rex and I & if so – we could always meet at Fred’s Mexican Cafe on Main & PCH in Huntington Beach.  They’re awesome there!

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebookGoogle+, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a great weekend & an awesome start to your holiday season!  Be sure to stay in touch for some more absolutely incredible events that I’m sharing this week.  From San Diego to Newport Beach and all the way up to Oakland – I’ll have some fantastic Weddings and events that I’ve had the honour of photographing.  And of course soon to come; the party at LA Fashion Week with Kate Mesta and be sure to check out the Huntington Beach Photo Shoot of Sarah for her portfolio for The Ford Modeling Agency – Cheers!

PS, If you haven’t already seen on Twitter & Facebook the two very HUGE announcements I shared last weekend – check this out.  One is the Military Promotion that launched last Saturday.  I had the honour of giving it to Ali & Justin when I was up at Edward’s Air Force Base with both of their parents location scouting and going over details for their Lancaster Wedding Day I’m photographing next August.  The other HUGE announcement I shared is the Workshop I’m teaching with my good friend & fellow photographer Danny in Paris France.  So if you’re in Paris over Christmas break, totally let me know because the workshop is very affordable & only 100 Euros per person.

PS, Check out this awesome quote I shared on Twitter keeping the “Butterfly Effect” moving forward – spreading positivity.  It’s a totally new one & I really think it is so very true.  “Pain Heals. Chicks Dig Scars. Glory Lasts Forever.” -Keanu Reeves in the movie; “The Replacements”

Good morning from caffeinated Esquire Photography in Orange County everyone!  I’m one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer who is MEGA excited to share a totally romantic Santa Monica wedding I recently had the honour of photographing.

With all the exciting Engagement Shoots, Portraits and Weddings I’ve been capturing photographs of from Newport Beach down to San Diego and all the way up to Oakland – this particular wedding that I’m sharing tonight of Elaine & Lee is one of the most infectious weddings of love, happiness and unity.

I’m going to “cut to the chase” as it’s said & say that Elaine & Lee’s Santa Monica Wedding at Crescent Bay Park was not just filled with passion, romance, tears of joy, and an enourmous sense of community – it was filled with “Mitzy Mitzy.”  I didn’t know what that was until I witnessed it when I was photographing their wedding ceremony and all of their friends & family were bestowing a personal wish, blessing, power, thought, prayer, etc on their wedding rings.  Basically an overall and overwhelming sense of oneness & energy with everyone.  Can I just say… AWESOME!

I would like to give a shout out to Brent Segorski, the Manager at The Lobster in Santa Monica.  He and his entire team of attentive professionals made sure everything was perfect for Elaine & Lee’s wedding reception.  If you’re ever in Santa Monica, love seafood & want incredible service – be sure to go to The Lobster, you’ll LOVE it!

I’ve put together a beautiful slide show of just a few of my favourite photographs I captured during Elaine & Lee’s Santa Monica Wedding below.

Good morning from Orange County everyone!  I’m a totally excited (and caffeinated. HeHe!) Newport Beach Wedding Photographer right now!

As I’m working on another San Diego wedding I photographed, I just had to share a note I received from Angela & Andrew about their Oakland Wedding and Rehearsal I recently had the honour of photographing.

I am really humbled with notes like this and my couples really inspire me to continue to be a wedding & portrait photographer from Newport Beach & Huntington Beach to Los Angeles, San Diego, London and more for nearly 30 years.

Check this out – I love it!

“You were there every step of the way.  David has the ability to capture a moment through laughter that opens everyone from a child to grandparents.  He enjoys life.  This is reflected in his gift and talent as an artist.

As a bride I also appreciated his innate ability to ground and fully be present.  There is so much joy in every smile and tear in our ceremony to reception. There is so much love.

We feel so blessed that David is a part of our family on our special day.  We had a dream of color, vibrancy, love and pure celebration of life.  We love you and express our deepest gratitude to such a gifted being and true artist.  A celestial experience that will always be in our memory for years to come.

Angela & Andrew”

Good evening from Esquire Photography in Orange County everyone!  I’m one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer who is MEGA excited to share a totally romantic San Diego wedding I recently had the honour of photographing at the Fallbrook Wedgewood Golf Club.

With all the exciting Engagement Shoots, Portraits, Quinceañeras, and weddings happening from Newport Beach down to San Diego and all the way up to Oakland – this particular wedding that I’m sharing tonight of Nikki & Michael is one of my favourites.

The minute I showed up down in San Diego for Nikki & Michael’s wedding, I knew I was in for a very powerful and emotional experience.  Let me just say that I struggled to keep it together when I was photographing their wedding ceremony.

Nikki was completely radiant in her gorgeous Casablanca wedding dress & Something Bleu wedding shoes.  She also gave all of her ladies hand made gifts from Afganistan.  They were awesome!

Nikki & Michael’s San Diego wedding day was filled with tears of joy, romance and a little bit of silliness throughout the reception.  I even was able to capture some of my Signature Night Romantic portraits of them and not just once, but twice.  Can I say Wholly Nachos & Newcastles!

I would like to give a shout out to Michael, Aubree & Jessica at the Fallbrook Wedgewood Golf Club too – who led a brigade of professionals making sure Nikki & Michael’s San Diego wedding was absolutely perfect.  You guys rock!!!

  • Liz Duren - Great slide show… I got sucked in and I don’t even know these people!!! Great work.

  • David Esquire - Thanks for the note Liz! Nikki & Michael along with their friends & family are totally cool. I got to know them through the process and in turn – it was a pretty emotional day for me as well. :-)

“Hi David!

WOW! I can’t believe that this day is finally here!  Took a peek at some of them, and I am completely blown away by your ability to capture the light and everything, they look spectacular!

Again, thank you so much for your endless patience, extremely hard work, and all the coaching and mentoring that you did in order to prepare me for this.  It really is something that has impacted my life in such a positive way!

Sincerely,

Sarah”
