Good evening & this is one very happy Newport Beach Wedding Photographer.  I’m back in at EPHQ and after taking my first day off this year & celebrating my 6 year wedding anniversary with Katherine – I feel quite a bit refreshed .  We spent the day at Disneyland & California Adventure together and because we wanted it to be a bit of a mini-break, we stayed at the Disneyland Hotel.  What was so awesome is the cast member at the front desk upgraded us to a suite and it was absolutely wonderful and perfect!  We even got to see “The Front Side Of The Water” last night too.  Yeah!

If you happened to catch this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week double feature with Boys Don’t Cry and by Kid Rock, then you read it was totally inspired by Adrienne & Jeremy’s Engagement Shoot at the Montage Resort Laguna Beach.  Well let me tell you!  I had the honour of photographing Adrienne & Jeremy last Thursday & to quote Keegan Michael Key’s character; Eugene Struthers from MadTV, Adrienne & Jeremy seriously took it to the “HNL.”

Words escape me right now to describe their Laguna Beach Engagement Shoot, but I can definitely say it was the definition of playful, romantic, sassy, sexy, and a lot of fun.  In fact, I had so many favourites from their Engagement Shoot, that I put together a totally fun slide show for you to enjoy.

So!  Before you check out the photographs from Adrienne & Jeremy’s Engagement Shoot at The Montage Resort Laguna Beach and you’re thinking…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves music & fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebookGoogle+, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a super Sunday & stay tuned for more amazing weddings, portraits, engagement shoots, and so much more that I have to share with you.  I’m going to be photographing one of my totally awesome wedding couples; Stephanie & Lester, who I photographed their Hacienda Height’s Wedding tomorrow with their new addition to their family; “Baby G” – cheers!

PS, I’m still on the search for a couple TOTALLY AWESOME replacement photographers to join the Esquire Photography team in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, San Diego and Ventura.  If you or some you know understands the importance of wedding photography to brides & grooms along with a zeal for working in the wedding photography business, totally contact me ASAP.  Thanks!!!

PSS, The Esquire Photography site is LIVE beta testing new code and you should be able to view and enjoy my slide shows on your iDevices and Droid devices.  I’m doing everything I can to keep up on the bleeding edge of technology to help you enjoy all the amazing events I’m shooting around Southern & Northern California & beyond.  In fact, if you’ve ever wondered how many photos I capture on average — I did the math recently and I’m currently on target to capture just over 1/4 million photos this year alone.  I’m already pushing 200k photos and it’s only August – awesome!

  • Esquire Photography » Newport Beach Wedding Photographer / Photography Testimonial / Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer - […] Myyyy Goodness, thank YOU for all your awesomeness during our wedding (and not to mention the engagement session); we had such a BLAST taking photographs with you behind that camera!!  We were so lucky and […]

Good afternoon & this is one very happy Newport Beach Wedding Photographer.  It’s my “naughty nutrition day” and as I’m sitting here enjoying a pint of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and some nachos for lunch, I thought about the Engagement Shoot that I’m photographing tomorrow with Adrienne & Jeremy at the Montage Resort Laguna Beach.

They’ve got a couple of really fun things they’re incorporating into their Laguna Beach Engagement Shoot and those ideas for their photos inspired me to do a special double feature West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week!

I won’t say too much about their Engagement Shoot tomorrow at The Montage in Laguna Beach, but since I love to tease a little bit, I’ll just say that the two songs I’m sharing with you are; “I Wanna Be A Cowboy” by Boys Don’t Cry and “Cowboy” by Kid Rock.  I can’t say much more, but I have a feeling you’re picking up what I’m throwing down.  Hee Hee Hee!

So!  Before you check out this week’s special, double feature West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week inspired by Adrienne & Jeremy’s Engagement Shoot tomorrow at The Montage Resort Laguna Beach and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves music & fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

So without further ado, I give you “I Wanna Be A Cowboy” by Boys Don’t Cry and “Cowboy” by Kid Rock from Newport Beach for today’s Engagement Shoot inspired West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.

So feel free to sit back with your favourite afternoon jolt of energy, er… I mean “beverage,” enjoy two killer videos and I hope you are having an awesome West Coast Wednesday in Newport Beach, Huntington Beach or another part of this crazy world we’re all a part of.

Also remember to keep the “Butterfly Effect” happening and make it a totally positive one for someone else too – cheers!

PS, Here’s an awesome quote I recently shared on Twitter yesterday that I think helps keep the “Butterfly Effect” moving forward spreading positivity.  “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”  I had mentioned last night, I think it’s so totally profound and I can also back that statement up 100%.  I’m a Leo and very blessed to have “Nine Lives” – cuz I’ve used up four of them already.  So embrace the time you have & totally go for every dream you possess in your heart!

Good evening everyone!  This is one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer that has been on pins & needles wanting to share Ashley & Chaz’s Long Beach Wedding and Huntington Beach Reception with you.

If you’ve been following my updates on TwitterFacebook, or Google+, then you more than likely seen how AT&T & their U-verse product has brought EPHQ to it’s knees in the past three days.  But!  I’m totally excited as this has been going on for 5 weeks & I think I’m nearing the end of the tunnel & with all my fingers, toes & eyes crossed – hoping for some better uptime.  Yay!

So!  With that said and my uptime today now has been a few hours, and I’m able to share with you one of the most romantic, colourful and timeless weddings I’ve had the honour of photographing in Long Beach in a long time.

Recently Ashley & Chaz celebrated their love for each other in both Long Beach & Huntington Beach.  You might remember Ashley & Chaz from their amazing Engagement Shoot we did up in Big Bear or more recently — the “Tale Of Two Brides” Bridal Portrait Shoot Ashley did with her sister; Annie at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach.

Their wedding day kicked off at the Long Beach Marriott near the Long Beach Airport, where Ashley was having some finishing touches in the hotel suite with her parents, sister Annie & a select few others.  That was pretty much where the laughter, good times and tears of love & joy were getting started.

From there, we headed to St. Cornelius Church in Long Beach where a closely knit group of their family & friends shared in their wedding ceremony. But that wasn’t until we all had a great time in front of the church with Chaz & his entourage rockin’ the photos and then Ashley & her ladies laughing and having fun just moments before the wedding. Mr. Dave Champagne the professional bag pipe artist for the processional and recessional for the wedding ceremony even got silly with Ashley a minute or two before the ceremony started.  Awesome!

Ashley & Chaz headed to their reception at Don The Beachcomber on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach in a totally slick old time car provided by Guy Falkner out of riverside.  I followed them in Rio and even managed to capture some photos of the car as we headed down PCH.

From the playful dash of icing on Ashley put on Chaz’s nose during the cake cutting (which had a LOT of potential to become a lot more on the face!), to the toasts, special dances their parents and the romantic time they spent together around Don The Beachcomber that allowed me an opportunity to capture some of my signature romantic, sexy and playful portraits – it was a totally perfect wedding day.

Before you scroll down to check out Ashley & Chaz’s gorgeous and colourful Long Beach Wedding and Huntington Beach Reception at Don The Beachcomber on Pacific Coast Highway and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves being a photographer celebrating more almost 30 years capturing Weddings, Portraits and Engagement Shoots from Southern California to London, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m a Leo and very blessed to have “Nine Lives” – cuz I’ve used up four of them already.  So embrace the time you have & totally go for every dream you possess in your heart!

PSS, I would like to interject that I’ve been working on some very new post production techniques that will give my wedding photography the timeless and classic romance of black & white film noire along with some other styles.  Since I was pretty happy with them, I chose Ashley & Chaz’s wedding to be the VERY FIRST WEDDING to share this with you.  Totally check out Ashley & Chaz’s wedding on your iPhone & I think you’ll love it as much as I do!

Good morning from Orange County everyone!  This is one Newport Beach Wedding Photographer was up early putting the finishing touches on two beautiful bride’s portraits to share with you.

But first…

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way – in short, the period was so far like the present period, that some of its noisiest authorities insisted on its being received, for good or for evil, in the superlative degree of comparison only.”

So what does the introduction from “A Tale of Two Cities” – the Charles Dickens classic have to do with anything?  Uhmmm nuthing much other than I was calling the photo shoot for Ashley & her sister; Annie: “A Tale of Two Brides.  Kind of a bit of a play on the title”  Hee Hee Hee!

We opted to do their bridal portraits at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, which was totally perfect as it wasn’t too crowded and the light was totally perfect casting a gentle warmth into the foyer of the property.

You also may recognize Ashley in the bridal portraits too.  I photographed Ashley & Chaz’s Engagement Shoot up in Big Bear over the holidays during my “Workation” last year.  They were a blast up in the Big Bear, then we had a great time at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach and then at their Long Beach Wedding too.  Which BTW… you’ll TOOOOOOTALLY want to check back for!  I’m putting the finishing touches on Ashley & Chaz’s wedding to share with you perhaps in the next few hours or perhaps later today.  Hmmm… Am I being a bit of a tease or what?!?!

But before you scroll down and check out Ashley & Annie’s “A Tale of Two Brides” Huntington Beach Bridal Portraits and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves being a wedding photographer – celebrating more than 28 years capturing Weddings, Portraits, Engagement Shoots and more from Southern California to London, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

Enjoy Ashley & Annie’s bridal portraits & I hope you’re having a super start to your Saturday – cheers!

PS, Here’s an awesome quote I recently shared on Twitter that my new client; John shared with me yesterday.  This one does more than keeping the “Butterfly Effect” moving forward – spreading positivity.  This one is good for business.  Check it out!  “If you become too casual with your business, you’ll risk becoming a causality.” I love it!  What about you?

PSS, I’m still on the search for a ROCKIN assistant and a couple KILLER replacement Portrait and Wedding Photographers to join the Esquire Photography team in Newport Beach, San Diego and Ventura.  If you or some you know may fit the bill, totally contact me ASAP.  I’m not sure how much longer I can keep up the 18, 22 and even 24 hour days.  Thanks!!!

Good morning everyone!  I’m definitely one very excited Newport Beach Wedding Photographer in that has a totally gorgeous and colourful Huntington Beach Wedding that I recently photographed to share with you.

Recently I had the honour of photographing Heather & Vincent’s Huntington Beach Wedding at Old World Village From the beginning of their wedding day – everything was absolutely beautiful, vibrant and full of colour.  Heather was absolutely gorgeous in her wedding gown from David’s Bridal, their vibrant wedding flowers were from Sherry’s Party Affair and their scrumptious cake was from The Great Dane Bakery.

Heather & Vincent’s Huntington Beach wedding was one of those weddings where all of their friends & family were so kind, open and welcoming – that I felt more like I was an old friend with a really nice camera.  I think that is absolutely fantastic and as a professional wedding photographer, it’s so key for me to be more of a part of their wedding day – than an outsider watching what’s going on.

Consequently, with their friends & family’s guards coming down, I was able to watch their wedding day quite literally unfold in front of me in such an organic manner – that I was able to see more of the natural smiles and beautiful body language with Heather & Vincent’s wedding guests and family.

But before you scroll down to check out Heather & Vincent’s totally gorgeous Huntington Beach Wedding at Old World Village and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer (Previously a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer) that loves being a wedding photographer celebrating more than 28 years capturing Weddings, Portraits, Engagement Shoots and more from Southern California to London, feel free to contact me anytime.

PS, I shared another awesome quote earlier today on Twitter that I think does more than just keep the “Butterfly Effect” moving forward – spreading positivity, but this one might make you think.  Check this out.  ”Talent is God given (Be humble).  Fame is man-given (Be grateful).  Conceit is self-given (Be careful).” Whoa!!!
