Good morning from Huntington Beach, California everyone! It’s Saturday morning and the good news is the sun is shining again, the torrential downpours have passed, the floods have retreated, water spouts gone, earthquakes aren’t trembling & more importantly we only had one tornado that touched down just down the street about 1/2 mile away from EP HQ did zero damage here (did massive damage down in Huntington Harbour though – bummer). Whew!
Now that things are settling back to “normal” and our living room is drying up – I’m able to share Stephanie & Lester’s wedding from last Saturday in Hacienda Heights, California.
Before I share Stephanie & Lester’s wedding and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach, California that survived the great storm that kicked off 2010. Feel free to Contact Me on the Website or send me an email direct on my contact page. You can also stay in touch with me in “real time” on Twitter, Facebook and my Facebook Fan Page too.
Stephanie & Lester’s traditional Catholic wedding was held at St. John Vianney Catholic Community in Hacienda Heights. Their wedding was perfect from the light gently shining through the stained glass windows to the classic architecture in the church. Along with Stephanie looking like royalty in her Alfred Angelo dress, ballet slippers by Saugus Shoes and wearing her grandmother’s wedding rings.
Immediately after the wedding ceremony we captured some classic and timeless portraits with their family and bridal party in the church, but then headed out for a group family portrait. Lester even insisted on us having a couple extra shots with the family as he snuck in some extra kisses with Stephanie. Awesome!
Once we wrapped the portraits at the church, we headed to the Westridge Golf Club for some of my Signature Artistic & Romantic portraits with the killer sunset we were having just before the reception. Can I just say that I love shooting at the Westridge Golf Club in La Habra. The property is perfectly groomed to do portraits on and the staff is absolutely amazing.
DJ Mark Reynolds from out of Arizona conducted his finest symphony of keeping everyone movin and groovin on the dance floor throughout the night. And I certainly don’t want to leave out the absolutely stunning & delicious cake that Pastry Chef Rebecca Lehman from Heavens Cent Cakes prepared. I actually broke down and had a piece at the end of the night & I’m so glad I did. It was stunning!
Stephanie & Lester’s family took me in like I was one of their oldest friends. With Stephanie’s twin sister; Sherri (like the drink! LOL!) being the coolest stalkerazzi with her camera to Lester’s friends keeping me laughing and Stephanie’s parents being a pair of probably the sweetest people ever – explained why I didn’t want to leave at the end of the night. Thank You!
So without further ado, here is Stephanie & Lester’s wedding in a little slide show that I put together and I hope you are having a great start to your weekend – cheers!
