Hello from EPHQ and have I got a totally MEGA experience to share with you!
Recently at 1:30 a.m. – after a 15 hour editing day, I saw a story in the iMore app about a drawing for the “Ultimate Road Trip Giveaway” with iMore and Pad & Quill.
So on a whim, I thought how awesome it would be to win so many awesome luxury items from one of the best, most reputable leather craftsmen in the world. But after the next day, it hadn’t crossed my mind until…
An email popped into my inbox from Dawn at Pad & Quill telling me I won “A Major Award!” (As in the incredible movie: “A Christmas Story”).
I read the email and thought: “No WAY!” and then the critical mind kicked in and I went to Pad & Quill’s website to confirm this wasn’t a scam. The next email I received confirmed it was legit and after I gave it some thought, I wanted to give back to Pad & Quill and proposed recording the experience with them. Dawn said she would check with Brian (aka: “Mr. PQ”) to see if he’d be cool with it and when we could coordinate it.
Fast forward to the morning of our meeting, and I had a little something extra up my sleeve and wanted to use my new Mevo by Livestream camera to Livestream the experience LIVE on Facebook.
Unfortunately, we ran into some tech hiccups connecting the device to the net. Which was odd as I had used it earlier that morning – but that didn’t stop us. We still used the Mevo to record our experience and now I’m honoured to share it with you!
