Good evening everyone! As I’m getting caught up on things in my office in Huntington Beach, California from being out of town celebrating my 4 year anniversary /slash/ location scouting with Anna & Lee for their wedding up in Los Olivos, California – I couldn’t wait to share some of my favourites from Sara & Chris’ wedding that I photographed at the Wedgewood in Ventura, California.
After a 4 hour commute up the very “efficient” (not) highways we have in California, Katherine & I arrived to meet up with Sara for some fun candid photographs with her bridesmaids and family.
Sara’s dress was beautiful and with her blinged accessories – she was picture perfect for the wedding. Their ceremony was held on the lawn with the rolling hills in the background, colourful summer gardens and a soft sunset back-lighting the ceremony.
After Sara & Chris’ wedding, we were able to do an uber-large portrait of everyone that celebrated in their day, some traditional bridal portraits with family & then we took the hill for some of my signature artistic and romantic portraits. Sara & Chris even incorporated a golf cart into some of the photos, but nobody was run down today.
Sarah and her staff at the Wedgewood rolled out the red carpet for everyone that attended with all details and Robin kept the tunes rocking throughout the night.
