Good morning from Huntington Beach everyone! I’m about to start getting my things together to head out of Orange County tomorrow for my gorgeous bride and Guest Blog Writer; Ashley & her super easy going and way cool fiance’ David up in Monteey for their wedding Saturday – but I just had to share with you some of the yumminess that I whipped up from Carina & Tim’s wedding that I photographed in Irvine at the UCI University Club.
I had the honour of working with Carina & Tim for their wedding and it was a totally fantastic experience like their Engagement Shoot at Disneyland. Their family & friends took me in like I was a member of their family and let me tell you, we all had a blast. I never felt like I was the hired photographer, but more like a guest with a camera capturing their wedding day.
Everything about the style and fashion of their day was made theirs. Carina had two dresses for her wedding day. For the ceremony, she wore a beautiful Alfred Angelo wedding dress with Classified Shoes in pink and white leather. Then for the reception, she altered prom dress an rocked a pair of sequined splarkly Gotta Flurt tennis shoes. Her ladies were also in Alfred Angelo bridesmaids dresses too. Tim and his entourage looked sharp in their black tuxes while taking it to the next level with Vans and pink shoe laces for some colour.
Their ceremony was under a crystal clear blue sky that made a terrific canopy for all the splashes of colour that they had for their wedding. After the ceremony, we were able to have some classic portraits with the family and then some really fun portraits with the wedding party. Once the classic portraits were done, Carina, Tim and I headed down a path near the property where I was able to capture some quiet moments between them.
My good friend; Ms. Cindy Lee – the Uber Catering Manager & Wedding Coordinator at the UCI University Club & her team of professionals made sure that every detail was of their wedding day was met from the start of the day till the last romantic kiss under the moon-lit sky when we stepped out for some of my signature Night Romantic portraits. Plus! I had the opportunity of working with Jason Jass from Visions Entertainment who did my wedding. Jason’s company killllllllled it with the lighting and kept the dance floor full throughout the night. Awesome!
