Good Afternoon Everyone! On this day of change, we received a wonderful email from Erin & Philip over the pond at their home in Ireland.

You may remember Erin & Philip from their Engagement Shoot that we did in London England last April & then their Wedding here in Southern California.

Erin & Philip sent a note with a traditional Irish Blessing for Katherine & I for our lives & upcoming new year.  With today being such a historic day of change & hope for the entire planet as President Barack Obama is the USA’s first African-American President – Katherine & I really wanted to share it with you because the message in it seems very fitting.

We hope you enjoy it as much as we did & may your lives be blessed with an over-abundance of happiness, love & laughter shared with your friends & family – cheers!

Irish Blessing:

May there always be work for your hands to do,
May your purse always hold a coin or two,
May the sun always shine warm on your windowpane,
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain,
May the hand of a friend always be near you,
And may God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

Good Evening Everyone!  Here’s a little something that we have been dying to share with you about so many of our friends in “the biz” that our good friend Ron Dawson did over at F-Stop Beyond.

It’s called “The Longest Day” and the premise is simple.  Get 24 of the hottest professional photographers in the country (and Canada), bring them all to Southern California armed only with the knowledge that they would be split into two teams and given an assignment to complete in 24 hours.  Once they arrive, they find out their assignment is to write, shoot, and edit an original short film about photography, AND an original PSA about the respective charity for which they are playing.

Here is the premier episode of the first online reality TV show for AND about professional photographers!  “The Longest Day” is this year’s buzz-building video series for WPPI 2009.

We hope you enjoy this first installment of the program & have a super week – cheers!
