Good Evening! It is always an honour when you have the opportunity to photograph your friends and that’s exactly what we had the opportunity to do with two our of closest friends; Karen & Drew at The Pike in Long Beach.

They’re getting married next month back at Karen’s home state of Minnesota, and we did their engagement shoot here in California.

We met up a couple of hours before sunset & played around The Pike capturing some of our signature Artistic & Romantic Portraits for them. Basically their shoot didn’t feel like work at all as Drew kept on cracking one-liners and all it seemed like we were doing was playing around & being silly.

Here are a few of my favourites from their shoot & I hope you enjoy them as much as we did taking them.

Have a super weekend – cheers!

Good Evening! We’re working on the new site tonight & we just had an incredible email from Michelle & Josh about their Wedding that we recently just shot on May 18th. Check it out!

“Hello!!!

Can I just say that you are the best photographers ever!!! Thank you for helping to make it the most perfect day for Josh and I. We love the pictures on your site, they are simply amazing! We have gotten so many comments about how wonderful and talented you guys were. Several people wanted your number for events they have coming up. What an impressive job. We can’t wait to see the rest of the pictures!

We had a lovely time on our quick wedding getaway to Hearst Castle. Our real honeymoon will be next month when we go to Hawaii for a week. I can feel the warm water now surrounding my toes, we can’t wait to be there.

Thanks again and we can’t wait to catch up with you soon. You are the best!

Warmest Regards,

Joshua and Michelle Gorden”

This is like having the best ice cream sundae after an incredible meal at Ruth’s Chris!!

We hope you’re having a great week like we are – cheers!

Good Evening! I just got in & from Lindsey & Jonathan’s wedding in Fullerton & what an amazing day we all had! Their day started at the Embassy Suites in Brea for everyone to get ready & have some fun with the portraits too. In fact, the guys pretty much looked like the mafia in the hotel foyer.

Everyone headed to the The Summit House for the ceremony & reception – which is an absolutely beautiful property overlooking the amazing San Bernardino mountains. The Summit House was designed as an English Country Manor with decor that features carved high-beam ceilings, quaint fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows. The perfect location for perfect pictures for your wedding.

DJ Oscar spun the tunes throughout the night for everyone to bust some of their grooves and we even had an impromptu group photo of Lindsey & Jonathan with their 100+ closest friends & family. I have to say that tonight was such a blast & I was having so much fun that when I needed to head out at the end of the evening, I totally wanted to stay!

Here are a few of my favourites from Lindsey & Jonathan’s wedding & I hope you enjoy them as much as I do – cheers!

Good Evening! I just got in from one heck of a party with Sherry & Sherif’s wedding day. The day started out down the street from the Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates at a gazebo overlooking the ocean where they had their first look. This gave them an opportunity to break tradition and have an intimate moment by themselves to take in how amazing each other looked for their big day.

After their first look, we headed back up to the Malaga Cove Library for some fun portraits on the hill while the weather held back for us. Everyone looked amazing and we all had a blast doing some traditional portraits and more artist and relaxed portraits too.

Their ceremony was held at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church in Los Angeles. If you’ve never been to a wedding there, you should at least take a few moments to go check it out as it is one of the most opulent churches you will ever go to in the US.

The 2nd highlight of their day was the P A R T Y that was held at The Beverly Hills Hotel. Now let me tell you – this family knows how to throw down and the room was extremely decadent too. Chandeliers, ice cream bar, incredible centerpieces, and pink lighting everywhere. Totally over the top and a blast was had by everyone!

Here are a few of my favourites from their day, check them out & have a super holiday weekend – cheers!

  • tonyM - The shot from the rear of the church looking down, is AMAZING!!!!

Ok ok ok, I know – lots of people are saying that it’s the biggest pile of garbage out there. But I have to say that after seeing Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull tonight with Katherine & several of our friends – I left the theatre pretty satisfied with the movie.

I enjoyed the movie & found it to be a totally good popcorn flick as the next chapter of Indiana Jones. Of course a lot of it was over the top & pretty far-fetched, but then again so is every other action movie that ever came out of Hollywood. Not to mention the daily news too! Hahaha – real (And Honest) journalism on the 10:00 o’clock news….

If you’re looking for a movie that will take you away with some good action, comedy & light fun – then this is it. But if you’re looking for a movie that will take any awards, then this is not for you.

Have a super Memorial Day weekend & I hope you get to enjoy some delicious BBQ too – cheers!
