Newport Beach Wedding Photographer Wedgewood BuenaventuraGood morning from EPHQ everyone!  As I’m sure you saw on Twitter & Facebook I recently had the honour of photographing April & Aaron’s Military Wedding at the Wedgewood Buenaventura.

Back in March – April contacted me from their home in Ohio asking about my Military Discount because they’re in the United States Air Force.  After the two of us determined what they needed for their wedding photography – I was happy to say yes and accept the responsibility of being their wedding photographer.

When I showed up at the Wedgewood Buenaventura in Ventura, April was in the bridal suite having the finishing touches done to her hair & makeup with her ladies and about to be totally stunning in her bridal dress from David’s Bridal & shoes from Michelangelo.

From the totally epic impromptu group photo with nearly 200 wedding guests to the wedding cake, cake pops & candy bar from Pop Cupz, the gorgeous floral arrangements from Antelope Valley Florist and DJ Robin keeping the afternoon fun & the dance floor full – April & Aaron’s wedding was one that I’ve been eager to share with you since I captured all their wedding day memories in photographs.

ALSO! I’m excited to share with you Chris from AV Nice did a spontaneous interview of me about me being a Google Glass Glass Explorer.  Be sure to check it out on their YouTube page HERE.

So!  Before you check out some of my favourite wedding photographs from April & Aaron’s big day at the Wedgewood Buenaventura up in Ventura and you’re thinking…  Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Newport Beach Wedding Photographer that loves romance & fashion and photography & art, feel free to contact me anytime.  I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebookGoogle+, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a great weekend AND STAY TUNED for a really awesome project I did in Las Vegas for the Google Glass team.  I can’t say much about it yet, but I have a feeling you’re going to like it as much as I did putting it together.

PS, If you’re in the Military or were in the Military – be sure to check out my Military Discount.  It’s the biggest discount in the entire world and there are no special catches, fine print.  It’s my way of giving back to all the men & women who serve in our country.

Newport Beach Wedding Photographer Wedding TipGood morning from EPHQ everyone!  I have an awesome Wedding Tip to share with you from my good friend and Partner of Esquire Photography; Shelly at Simply Bridal.

This week Simply Bridal has put together a totally awesome graphic on how to pick a headpiece for your wedding day veil or as I learned in Germany for Christin & Christoph’s destination wedding: “Schleier.”

“So you’ve found the dress, you’ve found the shoes, found the jewelry, now your ready to decide on a headpiece.  There are so many options to choose from!

Is it time to feel like a fairy tail princess and go with a big shiny tiara?

Or, is it better to go for a few subtle hair clips?

There are so many outside factors to consider as well, is there a theme to the wedding?  Select the circlet or a feathered headband if your wedding is vintage themed or your just going for the Gatsby look.

Take a look at the chart to help you decide what is right for you and your bridal party.”

What I do want to share with you tonight is a little something to help keep the Positive Butterfly Effect happening.  It’s a totally positive & inspirational message I watched recently from Academy Award-nominee Woody Harrelson.  It’s absolutely brilliant & I really like this quote as well from his bio: “…And now I not only wanna cry and show my crying to other people, I wanna just split myself down the middle and open my guts and just throw everything out!”
