Gary Numan Drives His Cars In Huntington Beach

Good morning from Huntington Beach everyone!  As I’m sure you’ve seen & heard on my Twitter and Facebook updates, I survived the marathon weekend shooting three weddings and one special event.

I started off with a Halloween fund raiser at Katherine’s school in Downey on Thursday, then had Shelby and her amazing fiance’; Matt (from their 12 Hour Engagement Shoot in Anaheim, San Diego & Orange County) on Friday for their wedding that was filmed for WeTV for David Tutera’s “My Fair Wedding” filmed at a secret, undisclosed location (sounds kinda like me “Super Secret Project For Brides And Grooms!”), then Jenni & Nick’s wedding on Saturday at the Edward’s Mansion (they hired me nearly THREE years ago) – then closing out the weekend with an awesome haunted wedding for Christina & Scott on the Queen Mary in Long Beach. WHOA!

So as I’m recovering and getting back on track with correspondence, post production and working on my “Super Secret Project for Brides and Grooms” – I have a pinch of a break tomorrow in my calendar.  Gary Numan is coming back to the US for his North American tour.  Totally Awesome!

Gary Numan was supposed to be here in Los Angeles earlier this year, but when the volcano erupted in Europe, his entire tour schedule was blown up and then cancelled.  So when I received the email that he was rescheduling, I got my replacement ticket & am super excited to see him perform tomorrow night at the El Rey Theatre up in Los Angeles.

If you’re not too familiar with Gary Numan, he’s an English singer, composer, and musician, most widely known for his chart-topping 1979 hits “Are ‘Friends’ Electric?” (with Tubeway Army) and “Cars“. His signature sound consisted of heavy synthesizer hooks fed through guitar effects pedals.  Basically one of the early pioneers of punk & electronic music.

But before you check out this week’s West Coast Wednesday Videos Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Orange County Wedding Photographer that loves the to do marathon wedding weekends, fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

So without further ado, I give you Gary Numan with “Cars” – both the original version and a live version where he performed with Nine Inch Nails over the puddle in London in 2009.  So feel free to sit back with your favourite morning beverage, enjoy the videos, enjoy a few minutes of incredible music, vocals and live performances.

Have an awesome West Coast Wednesday and remember to make it a totally positive one for someone else too – cheers!

PS, the image above is from Gary Numan‘s website.  Check it out – he’s got some terrific wallpapers for your Mac (or PC if you must).
