For this week’s program episode I am joined down by the sand in Seal Beach with Ms. Lauren Vopatek – the master uber-hair stylist from Dean Anthony on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, Long Beach and Bella Salon of Naples. I have had the honour of working with Lauren over the past year & she’s also taken care of my crazy hair styles. So when she said she would love to help couples have a better idea about why it’s important to hire a professional hair stylist, I jumped at the opportunity to record her episode. Even on my iPhone as my Canon video camera was not happy that day. Nothing like sacrificing quality for content – yeah!

“Master stylist, Lauren Vopatek, has been in the industry for over 7 years. She started her career in her home town of Chicago, where she graduated cosmetology school and participated in a year long apprenticeship with one of Chicago’s top salons.
After a few years behind the chair Lauren received an opportunity to work for one of Chicago’s premiere salons, Elizabeth Red Door Salon and Spas. At Elizabeth Arden she advanced her skills by training in the art of Vidal Sassoon inspired precision cutting and focusing on a cutting specialty. Laurens passion eventually brought her to Southern California where she is now a full time stylist and educator for Bella Salon of Naples as well as part of an elite team of educators for L’Oreal Professional.
Laurens passion for beauty and talent for hair drives her to continually update her skills and provide the best service possible for her guests.
Specialties-Laurens specialties include creative cutting, advanced color techniques, Keratin straightening, chemical relaxing treatments, and extensions.”
