What do you get when you combine a couple that loves each other to the end of the earth, a beautiful summer day in Long Beach California and the Long Beach Harbour? A perfect wedding day for Elaine & Hubert!

They decided to have their wedding in the garden at The Reef in Long Beach California with the Harbour, the Queen Mary and the Long Beach city skyline in the background.

Shortly after their ceremony, we all headed to the beach in their Hummer Limo that they reserved for their day. While we were at the beach, we did some classic portraits and then everyone decided to let loose with some totally whacky poses and practical jokes.

From there we headed back to The Reef to celebrate the day in the Harbour View Room for the 175 friends & family that attended. Elaine & I even had a private shoot for some special glamour photos for Hubert.

One of the things that I love about what we do is that we get to photograph weddings all over the country. But not only that, we get to photograph weddings in different environments. Today I had the pleasure of photographing Sandra & Christopher’s wedding on the Newport Harbour.

We set sail just before sunset on one of Adventure At Sea’s Just Dreamin’ yacht & it was spectacular! Sandra & Christopher had about 125 of their closest friends & family on-board & it was lovely. From the unique cake to the food to Sandra & Christopher leaving on a gondola for a fairytale farewell – it was a truly a perfect night.

Today I had the distinct pleasure of photographing Cameron Diaz’s wedding. Ok, not really, but Jami could be a stunt double or a stand-in for her easily! When I showed up at her bridal suite today at the Doubletree Hotel in Bakersfield, my mouth fell open once again as I thought I was in the wrong room!

We had so much fun doing the preparations and being silly with all her friends. And we even did an impromptu boudiour session too. She was so beautiful and all of her attendants were great helping us with the lighting and setting things up.

After she was finished getting ready & we completed her portraits, I headed off to meet Keith. He & I and all his groomsmen pretty much redecorated the entire hotel foyer to come up with the perfect layout for the lighting and giving them the bad boys/mafia look.

The ceremony was set in the courtyard under a gazebo and the reception followed with much dancing and great food! It was a perfect day in Bakersfield! Too bad it was 104 degrees and we all felt like we were going to melt. But that’s what air-conditioning is for.

I love having the honour of providing wedding photography to family & friends. Today I returned to the Westridge Golf Club in La Habra and had the honour of photographing Mallory & Salvador for their wedding. But you’re asking how do I know them? My esteemed partner-in-crime/wife/best friend/one who keeps my buttocks out of trouble; Katherine works with the Mother Of The Bride; Catherine (Great Names – I know!). So needless to say, they’re a fan of our work.

And, if you haven’t been to the Westridge Golf Club, you’re probably missing one of the best kept secrets. Their property is picture-perfect, the customer service is wonderful and they absolutely will make sure that the dinner is prepared to a T.

When we arrived, Mallory was putting on the finishing touches and her attendants were busy buzzing around finalizing the last minute details and Catherine was overseeing everything making sure that Mallory’s wedding day was going to be P E R F E C T.

The ceremony was had the best sunset light you could order up from Mother Nature. And the guest list was a bountiful cornicopia of family & friends. Their 86 & 83 year young Grandma & Grandpa were there, friends & family from all over showed up and the guys even got crazy with the garter toss. We had the best evening! But none of it really started until we did our “cardio” on the hill-top for our group photos. If you were there you know. And the cake topper has it’s own story too!
