Good evening from Esquire Photography Headquarters everyone!  If you’ve been following my Tweets and Facebook updates tonight then you may have probably guessed that I am definitely one Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that is ear to ear grinning.  And!  For so many reasons why too!  It’s been a productive day getting deliverables ready to ship again tomorrow now that my DVD burner has been replaced on my Beastly Mac Pro.  There’s also that I’ve been blowing my eardrums (or at least one that works) off my skull tonight as I needed to replace my headphones that I wear when I do post production.

I’m sure you already know how much of a deep passionate love I have for music as I’m constantly talking about it and doing the 52 weeks a year; West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week.  Well earlier today I used all my Best Buy gift certificates and bought a new pair of Dre Beats Studio headphones.  Let’s just say that I don’t think I’ll EVER want to take them off my head.  I’ve had great headphones before, but these are mind blowing!  I’ve never heard my music so accurately played back before.  Whether I’m playing the music softly or top volume, it’s crystal clear, sharp, and brilliant!

And if that isn’t enough, I wanted to share with you a TOTALLY AWESOME note I received on Facebook from Selah & Fabian about their Ventura wedding I photographed at the Wedgewood Ventura.

Check it out – it’s perfect!

THIS is one of the reasons why I do what I do and have been doing it for nearly three decades from Los Angeles to London.

I’m not just a guy with a camera showing up and taking photos.  I’m on this earth to help couples, families and people have the most fun they’re ever had in front of a camera, with a photographer and at an event than they could ever imagine.  If you want to hear more about my couple’s and client’s experiences – drop on over to my Testimonials Page where they share their stories.  It is an honour and a blessing to be a part of so many people’s lives!

THIS is part of my life’s calling and again – why I do what I do and have been doing it for nearly three decades from Los Angeles to London.

If you’re wanting a similar experience like what Selah & Fabian had for their Wedding at Wedgewood Buenaventura in Ventura, California and you’re thinking to yourself…  Hey – I’d really like to contact this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer in Orange County that shoots all over from Los Angeles to Ventura to London and San Diego.  Feel free to get in touch with me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a terrific Baby Friday – cheers!

PS!!!! Totally be sure to drop by Esquire Photography tomorrow because the rebroadcast of UK’s Photo Night Live is going to be on!!!  I was invited to share my thoughts with totally awesome Ross Dean in the Ipswich, Suffolk, UK and uber-bad ass Richard P Walton from Photo Graffiti in Newport, South Wales.

PSS! If you missed it last week, be sure to check out Leah and Linsey from The Double Knot on the latest episode of “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” – where they’re sharing some terrific advice on how to save some time, some money & your sanity planning your wedding and event.  AND!  Check out the outtakes too – they’re definitely worth of a good chuckle!

Good morning everyone!  I’m back at Esquire Photography HQ after a whirlwind of a HUUUUGE weekend.  It was so huge that I was one Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that did his best yesterday with 120 minutes of sleep to catch up on emails and correspondence while not falling asleep at the desk.

This past weekend was such an honour for me!  It started off on Saturday with being videotaped for the UK program; Photo Night Live, then immediately heading out to be photographed (yup, you read that right – me in front of the camera!) by my good friend; John Remus III for his RAW Artists Gallery Show at the Playhouse up in Los Angeles (Check out this SAMPLE!), and then heading out immediately after to photograph a sold out Women’s Roller Derby match between Long Beach & Orange County – which was ahmayyyyzeeng!!

On Sunday, I headed up to Mentryville to photograph Melissa & Justin’s Harley Davidson old town inspired Engagement Shoot.  It was a total blast to kick off the day & then I headed up to the Wedgewood Buenaventura to photograph Selah & Fabian’s wedding – which was gorgeous.

But wait!  It still keeps going.  Monday, I headed down to San Diego to photograph Nellie & Darrel’s sunset wedding at the Wedgewood in Fallbrook.  It was awesome & I had the pleasure of being assisted by Belinda from Pinky’s Pix who helped make sure I was able to be whipping around the wedding and reception in the flashest of flashes.

My calendar did give me some time yesterday to catch up on some emails (which I’m still chipping through) and then I headed out to record a new and awesome episode of How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day.  An awesome guest that will be soon sharing some terrific tips & tricks on how to save some time, money & sanity planning a wedding.  With my evening eventually wrapping up with being hired over the phone for Heather’s wedding in July and crashing out.  WHEW!

So here I am rambling on and just realized that I need to share my latest West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week with you because I’m heading out to record another episode of the How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day this morning too.  So much going on for you in the program & I’m so excited to keep all the great guests coming!

This week’s guest is one of my favourite female artists of our generation.  She’s controversial, in the spot light every time I turn around and always seems to be pushing herself right to the edge in everything she does.  Which is cool, because I love the phrase; “If you’re not living on the edge, you’re taking up too much space!”

You’re probably thinking of her right now & if you thought of Britney Spears – you’re spot on!

If you’re not too familiar with Britney Spears’ background, check out this snippet about her from Wikipedia.  She’s done quite a bit in the entertainment industry with some fantastic success!

Britney Spears has sold over 100 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists in the history of contemporary music. According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), she is the eighth top-selling female artist in the United States, with 32 million certified albums. Spears is also recognized as the best-selling female artist of the first decade of the 21st century, as well as the fifth overall. She was ranked the 8th Artist of the 2000–10 decade by Billboard. In June 2010, Spears was ranked sixth on Forbes list of the 100 Most Powerful and Influential celebrities in the world; she is also the third most mentioned musician on the internet, according to Forbes.

That’s awesome!!!

But before you check out this week’s West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that loves 80′s music, fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

So without further ado, I give you Britney Spears with her new single: “I Follow Rivers.”  So feel free to sit back with your favourite morning beverage, theatric video of sight, sound and sensuality.

Have an awesome West Coast Wednesday and also remember to make it a totally positive one for someone else too – cheers!

PS, If you missed it yesterday, be sure to check out Leah and Linsey from The Double Knot on the latest episode of “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” – where they’re sharing some terrific advice on how to save some time, some money & your sanity planning your wedding and event.  AND!  Check out the outtakes too – they’re definitely worth of a good chuckle!

PSS!!!!  Definitely check out the Oscars Event that I shot at Paramount Studios with my friend; Belinda from Studio Z down in San Diego.  Tons of great photos with celebrities!!!

Good Morning Everyone! I’m currently doing the Happy Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer dance right now!

You may have seen on my Twitter update or Facebook update yesterday that I was asked to be video taped on Photo Night Live in the United Kingdom.  If you’re not too familiar with Photo Night Live in the UK, check this out – it’s a new program taking the industry by storm and considering the host of guests that are on the program lik Emma Case from Birmingham, UK, my friend; Dane Sanders, and Steve Gerrard (who has photographed U2, Jay-Z, Sir Elton John & More) – it’s quite the honour to be on it.

“Catch ‘Photo Night Live’ every Friday from 7pm (GMT) where I will be inviting one top pro photographer and one emerging photographer (who you may not currently be aware of) and together we will discuss a chosen topic for 30 mins. It’s that simple!”

What’s going to be totally awesome about the episode that I’m going to be on is that I’m joined with Richard P. Walton from Photo Graffiti in Newport, South Wales and the host Mr. Ross Dean in Suffolk, UK to chat about a topic that is very important to me.  I think the title of the program says it all… “How not be be like everybody else and success as YOU!

Before you check out more information about the program and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that absolutely loves basically all things beautiful, musical, fashionable, photographable and in one word; art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

Have a great weekend & check back soon for some totally delicious photography that I’ll be sharing from Bernadette & Vlad’s wedding.  Gonna be awesome!!

PS, If you haven’t seen the Oscars event with Kate Mesta at Paramount Studios yet, totally check it out – it’s ahmayyyyzeeng!

PSS, As if this isn’t awesome enough!  My cool friend & uber awesome photographer; John Remus III has invited me to be included in a Portrait Series that he is doing and will be shown in an art gallery in Los Angeles.  He’s going to be taking me on location tomorrow after I record my video with Photo Night Live.  YEAH!!

PPSS, Something else for you!!  I’m going to be photographing the OC Rollergirls Roller Derby in Huntington Beach after both the Photo Night Live program and the shoot with John Remus.

PPSSS, Two more things!  Check back soon as I’ll be photographing Selah’s wedding Sunday up in Ventura & then Nellie’s wedding on Monday down in San Diego.  Lot’s of delicious wedding photography to share with you!

    XOXOXO!!

I’m wearing the Wedding Photographer in Huntington Beach hat for now, sipping on a cup of hazelnut coffee while I’m finishing up my newest West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week for you today.

But later tonight… I’ll be heading to Los Angeles at the El Rey Theatre for the Lykke Li concert.  Super excited to take the night off as I’ve been preparing more deliverables this week & gearing up for a fantastic weekend of shooting and being photographed myself too.  Yeah!

Since I’m heading out of Orange County for Los Angeles to see Lykke Li in concert, I thought that this week’s West Coast Wednesday should be a treat from Sweden.  As you might remember a few months ago I went to see Robyn in concert in Los Angeles and tonight another eclectic artist from Sweden is coming to town; Lykke Li.

If you’re not too familiar with Lykke Li, check out this snippet about her from Wikipedia.  I love how she started off in a very creatively influenced house with her family!

“Li was born in Ystad, Skåne in 1986; her mother, Kärsti Stiege, had been a member of an all-girl punk band called Tant Strul before settling into photography. Her father, Johan, played guitar for Swedish punk band turned reggae outfit Dag Vag. The family moved to Stockholm when Li was a toddler and later moved to a mountaintop in Portugal when she was six, where they lived for five years. The family also spent time in Lisbon and Morocco and spent winters in Nepaland India. She moved to the neighborhood of Bushwick, Brooklyn in New York for three months when she was 19.

She returned when she was 21 to record her album. Zachrisson released her first album, Youth Novels on LL Recordings in the Nordic region on 4 February 2008 and it received a wider European release in June, 2008. The album was produced by Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John and Lasse Mårtén and reportedly inspired by a previous relationship of three years. It was released in the United States on 6 May 2008. The album was released in the Republic of Ireland on 6 June 2008 and 9 June in the UK, promoted by a performances of “Little Bit” on Later With Jools Hollandon 25 May 2008.”

So without further ado, I give you Lykke Li with her new single: “I Follow Rivers.”  So feel free to sit back with your favourite morning beverage, enjoy the video with it’s motion of sound, seductive vocals and eclectic images.

Have an awesome first West Coast Wednesday and also remember to make it a totally positive one for someone else too – cheers!

WELCOME to the next episode of “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day!”

Thank you so much for joining me on “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day.”  Every other week this online program is here to help Brides and Grooms be introduced to some of the best wedding vendors in the industry.  We’ll be sharing tips & tricks, along with features & benefits of why hiring professional vendors on your wedding day will not only save you time, but money & your sanity.

For this week’s program episode I am joined with twins; Leah & Linsey – the dynamic wedding planner duo from The Double Knot.  I have had the pleasure of working with Leah and Linsey for weddings that they have coordinated along with the honour of being their professional photographer as well for both Leah’s Wedding and Linsey’s Wedding.  So for Leah & Linsey to be interested in being on my program is totally cool.

If you don’t know too much about Leah & Linsey just yet, check out their story.  It’s personal and totally impressive.

“It’s true that twins seem to have a strange connection with each other. Leah and Linsey are both perfectionists on their own but when you put the two of them together, it is like magic happens!

We make a great team and have worked together on events and projects for our entire lives. Leah and Linsey became certified wedding planners in the summer of 2006 through the College of Extended University at the California Polytechnic State University of Pomona. They have been networking and building relationships in the industry ever since then. Let their skills and experience go to work for you.

Linsey and Leah are twins who were born for party planning! It all started way back in high school when friends and family started asking them for help with parties. Senior year of high school, Linsey was already busy shadowing wedding coordinators, and Leah was helping out at a catering vendor.

Then, after supplementing their education with Wedding Specialist Certification, Leah graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, and Linsey graduated from California State University, Fullerton with her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.

Since then, the twins have planned weddings, retirement parties, conferences, reunions, and more! Let them help you plan your next big event!”

So sit back with a pad of paper & pen and be ready for some great information on “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” with Leah & Linsey from The Double Knot.

If you have any questions or are a vendor that would like to be on the program, feel free to contact me anytime.  I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.  Cheers!

And… Because “Pobody’s Nerfect” – here are some fun outtakes to enjoy too!
