Good evening from Huntington Beach everyone!  It’s time for an EMERGENCY West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week!

I’m a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer this is going crazy here at EPHQ right now with the music blaring and so wishing that this artist dropped this video last week.  But no worries – I’m happy to share it with you this week and it couldn’t wait another 48 hours.

If you saw the Grammy Awards recently and/or the red carpet awards, then you would have seen the ostentatious arrival from one of the most cutting edge and theatrical artists of our generation; Lady Gaga.  She showed up in a giant egg because she was still incubating for her performance and what she was wearing.  Yeah, that was way out there.  But that was just it – she was wayyyyyyyyy out there & created a buzz for herself.  Pretty brave if you ask me!

So as I was perusing You Tube looking for something about another band, I saw this amazing gem in my subscriptions.

Before you check out this week’s EMERGENCY West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that absolutely loves basically all things beautiful, musical, fashionable, photographable and in one word; art, feel free to contact me anytime.

So without further ado, I give you Lady Gaga with “Born This Way.”  So turn up the volume, get out of your seat and enjoy the videos of incredible music, vocals and awesome message.

Have an awesome EMERGENCY West Coast Wednesday coming to you live from this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer and also remember to make it a totally positive early one for someone else too – cheers!

PS… Did you get up out of your seat yet?  If you didn’t then you shouldn’t click the link in the next PSS.

PPSS, If you’re not up out of your seat with this song turned up as loud as you can wherever you’re at – then put your headphones on & get crazy, let your hair down.  You earned it just for being you & already won the race against 500 million people.  Curious about that?!?  Leave a comment below & I’ll tell you.

Good evening from everyone!  You know, being a wedding photographer in Huntington Beach definitely has it’s ups.  For instance, I really love being able to connect with the people in my community, build relationships that last a lifetime and get to know people.  There’s quite a bit that’s awesome about Huntington Beach.  From the shops, to the restaurants & beaches – Huntington Beach offers everything – even me.  Hee Hee Hee!

What’s super cool about Huntington Beach is one of my return couples; Cara & Eric – who are also residents of Huntington Beach.   You might remember Cara & Eric from their Trash The Dress photo shoot I did with them way back in 2008 after their wedding.  So when I received a phone call from Cara letting me know that their son Tyler was born and they wanted to do portraits with me – I let out a resounding YES!

What an honour to work with my couples as they build their families and grow over the years.  One of my couples that is still here in Southern California – I’ve been working with for the past near 12 years, with their daughter being now 10.  So getting to photography baby portraits, birthday parties, Christmas portraits and other holidays is a total honour for me.

I have been dying to share with you a couple of my favourite portraits from Cara, Eric & Tyler’s baby portraits and now that I’m back from WPPI (WOW do I have stories!) and photographing an Oscars event on Saturday with my great friend Belinda from Studio Z in San Diego – I have a few below for you to enjoy.

Before you check out Cara & Eric’s Baby Portraits and you’re thinking… Hey – I’d really like to get to know this Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer that loves basically all things music, fashion, photography and art, feel free to contact me anytime.

I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

Pre recorded and prepared in Huntington Beach, this is one wedding photographer that would like to personally WELCOME you to the next episode of “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day!”

Every other week “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” is committed to help Brides and Grooms be introduced to some of the best wedding vendors in the industry.  We’ll be sharing tips & tricks, along with features & benefits of why hiring professional vendors on your wedding day will not only save you time, but your money & your sanity.

For this week’s program episode I am joined at the Hyatt in Huntington Beach with Ms. Heather Birdsell from Paper Monkey.  Heather is a professional designer that makes works of art with wedding invitations, save the dates, and more.  Her work is crisp & clean married with a personal touch. She makes everything by hand. Adding a stamp motif or a sewn on embellishment means that each item is a little different. In a computerized world, something added by hand softens those hard cookie cutter edges. Your guests deserve a little TLC delivered to their mailbox.

So when I received an email from Heather letting me know she wanted be on the program to help couples have a better idea about why it’s important to hire a personalize their wedding invitations, save the dates and more, I jumped at the opportunity to record her episode.  In fact so much that I’m kicking it off now to help recently engaged couples with their save the dates.

If you don’t know much about Heather from Paper Monkey yet, check out her a clip from her bio.  Heather has quite a bit of personal attention to details in her experience and it’s totally impressive.

“I eat, sleep, and breathe all things design. While planning my own wedding almost 5 years ago (Where does the time go?!), I had the hardest time finding invitations that suited our style. White, fluffy, lacy invites just weren’t going to cut it. Finally, I resolved to make my own. Then I helped a friend with her invitations, and another. Repeatedly I was asked to design and make invitations for a few more friends. Lo & behold, Paper Monkey was born.

I’m a creative chick. I love playing with colors and patterns to make something that rocks my client’s world, and that’s what drives me! The invitation that you send your guests is the first taste they get of your event. It’s an important job, and I love being able to help my client bring their vision to life!

So sit back with a pad of paper & pen and be ready for some great information on “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” with Heather Birdsell from Paper Monkey.

If you have any questions or are a vendor that would like to be on the program, feel free to contact me anytime.  I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.  Cheers!

Good afternoon from Las Vegas everyone!  I’m a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer in Las Vegas with some really fun and awesome news!

I’m here along with about 15,000 other photographers preparing to attend the WPPI conference AND work on a “special project” that I’m with my friend; Lawrence over at PhotographySILO when I received an awesome email from my friend; Lan Bui from The Bui Brothers.

There was a “Seekrit” video that photographers from all around the world contributed to and it was a lip-sync’d version of Katy Perry’s “Firework” music video.  You probably know that I recently shared Firework with you on a West Coast Wednesday Video Of The Week, so when I received a note from Lan asking if I wanted to be a part of this – I couldn’t wait.  Especially with all the awesome people that I would be able to do this video with.

Now about this “special project” that I’m working on with my friend; Lawrence at PhotographySILO. First of all – PhotographySILO is “Photography Resource Geared For Men.”  Now the “special project” is pretty much explained in a quick article: ”Photography Ladies Gone Wild at WPPI 2011.”

So totally check out the video below.  It’s absolutely awesome, fun, playful, and a great song too.

Also, even though I’m out for the next week 1/2, I’ll be doing my best to check my emails and voice mails as best that I can.  Katherine will be keeping things together at EPHQ, so if you have any urgent questions that need to be addressed right away, shoot me a text message and I’ll have her contact you as quickly as possible.

Or if you want to reach out to me while I’m in “Lost Wages”, I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebook, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

Have a great couple of weeks & I’ll chat with you soon – cheers!

PS, Here’s a LINK to an absolutely huge 720p version of the video if you want to check it out on your plasma, LCD or jumbotron TV.

PSS, If you missed the latest episode of my online “TV” program; “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day that dropped last week, it was with Ms. Lauren Vopatek – the master uber-hair stylist from Dean Anthony on 2nd Street in Belmont Shore, Long Beach and Bella Salon of Naples.  Totally check it out – she’s got some great insight on how to save some time, some money & your sanity while planning your wedding.

PPSS, I won’t be leaving you hanging and I have a new episode of; “How To Make The Most Out Of Your Wedding Day” scheduled for next Monday, the 21st.  Great information, awesome guest & some fun outtakes.  You will absolutely love it!!!

Good morning from Huntington Beach everyone!  I wanted to let you know that for the next couple of weeks, I won’t be a Huntington Beach Wedding Photographer, but a Wedding Photographer in Las Vegas.

It’s that magical time of the year and I’ll be descending on Las Vegas along with about 15,000 other photographers to attend the  WPPI conference AND a “special project” that I’m working on with my friend; Lawrence over at PhotographySILO.

If you’re not familiar with WPPI, it is the largest conference and expo in the world for professional photographers. One of the coolest things other than all the soirees is getting to hang out with my friends & colleagues from around the world. There are also all kinds of photo shoots around the city along with business classes to attend that will help me catch up on the latest trends in the art and science of photography.

Now about this “special project” that I’m working on with my friend; Lawrence at PhotographySILO. First of all – PhotographySILO is “Photography Resource Geared For Men.”  Now the “special project” is related to what you read in the title of the article: “Photography Ladies Gone Wild at WPPI 2011.”

What does it mean?  Well, It means PhotographySILO will be at WPPI 2011 stopping random ladies to do a short video on their “Wild experiences” at WPPI and getting crazy on camera with their camera (PG-13 folks).

This content series will be the start of the new creative content direction of PhotographySilo. You’ve guessed it right if you were thinking of the first known Photography Resource site geared for Men (and some Women). Just think of PhotographySILO as the “Maxim” of the photography world.

What a cool way to help photographers share their awesome experiences at WPPI!  If you’re a photographer and want to know more – totally check out what Lawrence is doing over at:

I’ll be heading out later today, but will be checking my emails and voice mails as best that I can.
