I’m One Honoured Newport Beach Wedding Photographer To Share Samantha & Vince’s Military Inspired San Diego Wedding At the Maderas Golf Club

Newport Beach Wedding Photographer Military WeddingGood evening from EPHQ everyone!  The buzz on Twitter & Facebook the past couple days have been about Samantha & Vince’s San Diego wedding on Saturday at the Maderas Golf Club.

Not only that, but you know how the past several months have me constantly running around the world photographing the John B Concert, Denise & Miguel’s Wedding in Costa Rica, hired as a 2nd Unit Director & Still Photographer for the film; “Pepper“, Director of Photography for the film: “Game of Shakes”, Red Carpet Events & invited by Toscar Alumni: Gene Franklin Smith to photograph the private reception for the Malibu Playhouse in Malibu where I met long time actor: Dick Van Dyke.

AND more recently – being chosen as a Google #GlassExplorer and landing two new sponsors that I’m about to share with you soon. WHEW HEW!

With all the various events & projects going on – I’ve been on the edge of my seat excited to photograph Samantha & Vince’s wedding in San Diego.  Two of the many reasons I have been excited for their wedding day is I knew we were all going to have a blast on that day like we did for their seriously romantic Engagement Shoot.  Plus, because Vince is in the Marines – I was able to give back to them with my Military Discount.  There are so many men & women sacrificing for my freedoms and giving my Military couples 50% off their photography is the least that I can do.  PLUS!  Sam & Vince are totally freakin awesome to work with and hang out with!!

Samantha & Vince’s wedding was a dream come true.  From the minute Sam’s Lazaro wedding dress from JLM Couture was delivered with the lucky penny & Hawaiian quarter with her mom while she was having her makeup done by Lauren Barry with Blushing Artistry, to the gorgeous floral arrangements by Del Mar Floral & Gifts and the military-inspired wedding ceremony on the Del Lago Garden and the reception in the Del Lago banquet room where everyone was literally on the dance floor all night dancing the night away by DJ Steve Shanahan with Honored Occasions.

There are also some very, Very, VERY special stories as well about Sam & Vince’s wedding day.  Samantha & all her ladies had special hangers made by one of her bridesmaids; Ivona for the dresses.  Sam had attached a pair of earrings from her Great, Great, Great, Great Grandmother pinned to her white Chucks.  Vince represented his family proudly with his Grandfather; Brig. Robert, USMC’s sword and on top of all that – Vince’s Best Man; Jasper who owns The Cellar Uncorked and Noisy Water Winery gave Sam & Vince a private reserve case of wine that featured one of my favourite portraits of Sam & Vince from their Engagement Shoot.

Wait!  There’s more!  It was brought up during the reception that Vince’s family has a long history of weddings on Memorial Day weekend and so it seems – Sam & Vince are now able to add their names proudly to that list.  Plus, at the very end of the night, Sam & Vince took advantage of the full moon on Saturday night & I was able to capture some of my beautiful Signature Night Romantic Portraits.  Be sure to enjoy them at the end of the video!

To say there were many special touches in their wedding would be an understatement!

ALSO!  I want to give a MEGA shout out to Ms. Katy Arrington, Seniour Catering Sales Manager at Maderas Golf Club.  She and her army of awesome professionals were amazing – coordinating a totally flawless wedding day for Samantha & Vince.  I can’t thank her enough for all that she did making what I do that much easier and helping take us to the perfect spot on the property for Sam & Vince to enjoy a few minutes together while I captured my signature romantic portraits of them with the sun setting in the background.
