I’m One Totally Honoured Newport Beach Photographer To Photograph The Malibu Playhouse’s Reception For Gene Franklin Smith

Newport Beach Photographer Malibu PlayhouseGood afternoon from Esquire Photography HQ everyone!  As I’m sure you’ve been keeping up on all the exciting events I’ve been sharing on Twitter & Facebook; from photographing Portraits, Red Carpet Events, commercial photo shoots with celebrities, I was invited by my friend & fellow Toscar Alumni: Gene Franklin Smith to photograph the private reception for the Malibu Playhouse in Malibu on Sunday.

You may remember Gene recently invited me to photograph the Red Carpet event of the SOLD OUT play: “Blood Knot” directed by actor: Louis Gossett Jr. at the Malibu Playhouse – so to get invited back so quickly made me feel totally flattered!

Also, since Gene needed the photos processed very quickly for press & delivered last night, I rocked through the post production & cranked them out in just over six hours by 2:00 a.m.  Can you say WHEW HEW!  :-)

Since the photos are already done – I put together a fun video showcasing all the fun everyone had yesterday.  You’ll see in the photographs I captured in Malibu yesterday, everyone enjoyed the delicious hors d’oeuvres, to the wine & other beverages being shared in jelly jars to the fun everyone was having in front of the back drop from the “Blood Knot” red carpet event.

PLUS!  There was a special guest that my mother would have been honoured to have met.  The long time industry movie & TV star, comedian, writer, singer, dancer, and producer with a career spanning seven decades: Dick Van Dyke.  Now that deserves a “Wholly Nachos & Newcastles!”

Before you scroll down & check out the wrap videos and you’re wanting to chat with me about a project or film you’re working on, totally feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below or contact me anytime day or night.  I’m available just about 24/7 via TwitterFacebookGoogle+, the form on my contact page, or the old fashioned phone as well at 888.ESQ.PHTO (888.377.7486) or 562.225.5915.

I hope you’re having a great start to your weekend and stay tuned for more amazing events that I’m sharing from Newport Beach, all the way out to London, Paris, Costa Rica, Germany and Switzerland.  ALONG WITH! I was recently chosen as a Google #GlassExplorer AND being invited to perform on stage in New York & Edinburgh, Scotland for the parody: Miserable Lesbians all the while kicking off the EPIC Military Discount Program.

PS, if you’d like to order any of the prints from the reception at the Malibu Playhouse, I have them available through Pictage.  :-)
