Good evening from Esquire Photography HQ and have I got a totally sexy, romantic, GROUND BREAKING wedding to share with you.
As you have experienced on the journey with me – we’ve taken Esquire Photography around the world photographing, teaching and filming from the USA to Europe, Costa Rica & Mexico, Asia & India, and all the while pushing the limits and boundaries in the photography industry.
From working with celebrity stylist: Jonny Z at HiFi Hair & Records (Music Video), to the 1st of three commercials (LINK) I’ve done for TEK Products entirely #shotoniphone and the EPIC movie: “The Perfect Life” ALSO filmed entirely on an iPhone and Nokia 808 Pureview AND featuring music by Moby – this next project takes my life through the lens to the “HNL”!
Now! I’m honoured to share with you I’ve set the bar higher with a ground breaking wedding for Vickie & Travis. They have the WORLD’S FIRST wedding that was ENTIRELY filmed AND #shotoniphone SIMULTANEOUSLY!
Yes! You read that right! Their entire wedding was not only filmed on an iPhone, but photographed as well, and at the same time!
Earlier this year, Vickie reached out to me to capture the memories of their wedding day – which I was totally excited to say YES to. BUT! When she asked me if I could do it with my mobile phone, I nearly screamed loud enough for the people in downtown Minneapolis to hear me.
This was the opportunity of a lifetime! Vickie & Travis’ Wisconsin wedding changes the paradigm, changes the process, and changes the entire world of photography. Thus again proving it is NOT the camera, but the person behind the camera.
Yes, a good paint brush can help you create a “nice” painting, but a bad paint brush in the hands of a genius like Michelangelo didn’t matter at the end of the day. He was able to create works of art that have forever changed the world.
